Donald Trump: Ted Cruz Was For Welcoming Syrian Refugees Before He Was Against It
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
Well, Trump tweeted it so it must be true.
I voted for Trump, but I recall there was some caveat to Cruz’ statement. Something like, “duly considered” or “vetted” or something like that.
Meaningless words. The UN is ‘vetting’ them. Did Cruz know that?
Perhaps. But in this case the tweet is accurate.
So? Trump was for the AWB before he is “against” it.
"There is no better example of this than Calgary Teds actions surrounding the big Wall Street banks and their secret funding of his political ascension. Cruz has been gorging at the table of the ultimate insider of all insiders Goldman Sachs and Citibank ."
"What else would you expect a scoundrel to say who had secretly secured big sweetheart loans from Goldman and Citibank by leveraging his retirement accounts to fund his 2012 U.S. Senate campaign. Loans which the Calgary Ted conveniently forgot to disclose to the Federal Election Commission. These are the very retirement accounts that he said he and his wife said he cashed in to fund his senate race. In other words, Ted lied."
""Chad Sweet, Ted Cruzs campaign chairman, is a former CIA officer. Michael Chertoff, George W. Bushs former Secretary of Homeland Security, hired Sweet from Goldman Sachs to restructure and optimize the flow of information between the CIA, FBI and other members of the national security community and DHS. Chertoff and Sweet co-founded the Chertoff Group upon leaving the administration."
"The ultimate hypocrisy of the native born Canadian is that his spouse, Heidi, by all accounts a lovely wife and mother, has been employed by Goldman Sachs since 2005. She is on leave as managing director and regional head of private wealth management. Heidi is a proud member of the lefty Council on Foreign Relations, advocates of one world government and the New World Order."
Now that’s a valid criticism, much better than the birther attack.
I understand. But fairness is something I like to think I consider. I don’t remember Ted saying they should be unconditionally welcomed. I don’t even recall “UN”.
I could be wrong. I am not always right, for sure. But this isn’t something I’m all that upset about.
As was trump
Twote the Trump: evermore

In context, Cruz’s position makes sense. *If* the refugees can be vetted, fine. *If* they aren’t vetted, then keep them out. They currently aren’t being adequately vetted, so keep them out.
They all called for it in the wake of that little boy whose daddy drowned him.
I don’t recall ANYONE from either party calling for a moratorium on Muslim immigration besides Trump.
& Trump was against H1B visas before he was for it before he was against it before he was for it, etc., ad nauseum...

Trump talking about accepting syrian refugees.
“I hate the concept of it, but on a humanitarian basis, with what’s happening, you have to”
Of course he backtracked soon after, but that is what Trump does.
As opposed to all the rest of the candidates who have always been FOR H1B visas?
Cruz said it. He also said that we should make sure that no terrorists come in.
Now just how would we do that Ted?
In the wake of the images of the little dead kid (drowned by the actions of his own father), everyone called for accepting ‘refugees’.
Because everyone was misled by ALL the major news outlets that this was ‘refugee’ based.
And not the Hijrah it so obviously became afterward.
