Cruz and Trump are a perfect tsunami for our team. Cruz fires up the base, Trump can attract the cross over and indy voter who normally go Democrat. If one or the other wins, without eliminating that bridge to the other side, Nov should be the best GOP year in decades. It potentially could be better even then 1980 since we did not get the US House in 1980.
First, Cruz or Trump have to make it past this GOPe den of iniquity...

“To use a sports metaphor, Trump is the lead blocker who blew a hole in the opposition line so Cruz, the ball carrier, could run thru the hole.”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Actually, I see Trump as the defensive lineman who just picked off a screen pass and is “rumblin’, fumblin’, stumblin’” to an 85-yard touchdown. No one realized he could make that play or run that long.

The sports analogy I use is NASCAR racing:
Trump is the lead driver with the pack drafting him. When the second place driver attempts a pass he loses the draft and falls back.

“Rush seemed to be more inclined to support Cruz.”
On his radio show, Rush said that Ted Cruz would be the strongest one to fight the GOP establishment. Of course, Cruz has already proven that.

No denying the pent up anger and frustration at the GOPe. Im right there with you. Good sports metaphor, by the way. I think many of us like your analogy!
To: MNJohnnie
Funny how people who tell us they are the smart ones are so politically incompetentYou mean like Trump? Doh! Stepped in that one, didn't ya Johnnie!
BTW, why do you keep reposting JR's post? Is it some sort of veiled threat? Are you trying to say to get on the Trump wagon or else? Or else what, Johnnie?
Cause if we are forced to just draw a conclusion
Who is this "we" you're speaking of, Johnnie?
