Cannot believe WaPo actually printed this. But if they continue the path they are on, it will be the end of the GOP.

--

"If our self-indulgent Republican party establishment had really wanted to prevent a takeover of the GOP, they should not have gorged on political power while they failed to do anything to prevent the decline of the country. Our leaders could have led. They could have done more than say 'no' to Democrats while offering no alternative.

Most of the RNC/GOP is owned lock, stock and barrel by The Cheap Labor Express.
They have been actively working against the wishes of the people for decades.
Enabling the illegal alien inundation while giving lip service to national security.
GWB reduced border and interior enforcement AFTER 9/11.
Kay Bailey Hutchinson defunded the Secure Fence Act with an amendment in a subsequent bill.
They will burn the party to the ground rather than let us elect a President who would enforce the laws.

They are arrogant, they are far from stupid or clueless.
They have been playing conservatives for years and years.
We have only had amnesty candidates since the last amnesty.
It was not accidental. It was quite intentional.

They still think they can prevent us from electing a President who will enforce the laws and borders. They want to deny us the ability to stop the illegal alien inundation.

The most important thing to the RNC/GOP is keeping the people pipeline operating.

The Cheap Labor Express has already paid them for an amnesty candidate.

I believe they are willing to do anything to block us from keeping the rule of law and our country.

Don’t buy it.
They are trying to make a selected candidate in a brokered situation legitimate.
Expect the vote fraud to begin starting today.

Ted Cruz cannot win the nomination. His roll is to hamstring Trump financially and politically prior to the general election.

Four solid victories by Trump today will put some serious distance between him and the field. It will dominate several news cycles. People will come to their senses. National polls will push Trump up to 45% or more, esp with Carson dropping out. Romney/GOPe efforts to derail the Trump Train will look like too little, too late.

Get on board or get off the tracks.

Castellanos was the first GOP pundit I remember seeing on TV attacking Trump. That was way back in June or July. Good to see him coming around.

Even as major Republican donors coalesced Wednesday around a last-ditch effort to halt Donald Trump's march toward the GOP presidential nomination, resignation was setting in among some onetime Trump critics.

"It is too late," Republican media strategist Alex Castellanos, who had unsuccessfully urged top GOP contributors to back an anti-Trump campaign earlier in the cycle, wrote in an email. "There is a fantasy effort to stop Trump, like a fantasy campaign to stop yesterday but it exists only as the denial stage of grief." Seven stages of Trump depression thanks to TigerClaws!

'too late to ask mommy to step in and rewrite rules'

I see a lot of complaining about how the Cruz side is doing all the trash talking. CapitalistCrusader Just brought it up again in a post today.

But here we see the reality: can any of Trump's supporters make a point without invective?

Looks like finally the GOP establishment is waking up to reality. We need to unite against Hillary not take a stupid fight all the way to the convention and increase her chances of winning exponentially by savaging our front runner over small stuff. Trump has the most compelling message of any candidate. He didn’t just inherit his wealth he ran the Trump company for 8 years before his father passed. He took what was a multimillion $ company primary focused on low income housing in NY and built it into a multibillion $ company based in Manhattan with operations around the world employing tens of thousands of people. He made the Trump name a worldwide recognized brand synonymous with excellence. You may hate Trump for any number of reasons due to a caricature built out of a laundry list of his failures but a man’s worth is not measured by only the weight of his mistakes or failures but the sum total of his results and those results are unquestionable. He has built an empire that goes far beyond anything his father ever dreamed. He has even though he had multiple divorces managed to produce a beautiful accomplished family. Yes he has had stumbles and parts of his business went into temporary bankruptcy protection but even those parts many which have been sold off are still operational. Things like Trump University which is like a gnat in comparison to the total sum success of Trump is not a disqualifier in any mind but those who have allowed themselves to become politically deranged because of loyalty to another candidate.

And what of those other candidates? Now that Carson is out of the race we have primarily two preemie Senators who have not completed a full term and neither have any measurable accomplishments. Cruz gets and A+ for effort for filibustering while reading “Green Eggs and Ham” on the Senate floor and he is a supremely academically qualified lawyer with strong connections to Goldman Sachs which received bailout funds which had it not Cruz may have not had the funds to run for Senate as a Tea Party hero. I personally like Cruz but I can not see a path for him to change Washington DC. As for Rubio who I supported enthusiastically against Crist in Florida his biggest accomplishment was to take the role of front man to sell the idea of Obama’s immigration plan as a member of the Gang of 8.

Trump is a giant compared to these career politicians who the best they can often say in regard to the private sector is that their Dad was a mailman or a bar tender or such and such but never do we hear that they ever did anything of note in the private sector having been seemingly groomed from to be cradle to DC to grave politicians. Trump is a giant in another way and that is in his appeal to the disaffected voter, the non voter, the forgotten men and women who rightly feel betrayed. Trump fills stadiums like the biggest rockstar in the world and if that was all it wouldn’t be enough but he also fills the voting booths.

Super Tuesday voting for the GOP dwarfed the Democrats and brought out more voters on the GOP side than Barack Obama in 2008 during his run. That is an accomplishment beyond belief and yet we currently have losers like Romney and McCain not embracing this phenomenon but trying to kill it? God is raining political manna from heaven and we are saying “Sorry God but you can’t mean HIM!”. The worst has come from many Christians. Its as if they have never read their Bibles in regard to the kinds of leaders God lifted up. Maybe if Trump was wearing a powder blue suit and sprinkling his speeches with hallelujahs they’d feel better. The truth is we aren’t electing a Pastor.

We are electing private sector President. We are merely giving a chance to someone whose primary experience is in the world outside of Washington DC. Isn’t about time we got on board and stopped being ungrateful children? I say yes.

“Our leaders could have led. They could have done more than say ‘no’ to Democrats while offering no alternative.”

If they JUST DID THAT, it would have been great. Replace ‘no’ with ‘yes’ and then maybe those (apparently) TOTAL IDIOTS will better understand why they’re in this mess.
