i’m thankful to live in a place where 300,000 American of Italian descent would go INSANE if this happened, but It wouldn’t, because of that reason.

Staten island is a sanctuary in NYC. Great place NYC is to work and see and do things.

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Cultural marxists infest academia and all forms of media, top to bottom.
It amazes me how much Democrats hate the United States of America
PS75.... what a great name for a school, in the former USSR.
Submersion of American sovereignty into a one world government has been a goal of secular humanist libtards for decades
Most are on the US taxpayers’ dole, but their un-American teachers are indoctrinating them to pledge allegiance to countries most have never been in . These are the anchor babies that illegals drop on U.S. soil and who provide the pipeline to Free Stuff for their squatter parents.
I think we should abolish the Pledge of Allegiance ceremony. It was created by a socialist to advance national-socialist ideals; and it originally didn’t have “under God”. It is a pagan meme exalting the State over the Individual. The Founding Fathers began meetings with an invocation. For over a 100 years Americans did very well without “the Pledge”.
I, for one, would like to know how this "Pledge" continues!
Any mention of "indivisible" or "Liberty and Justice," I wonder?
Regards,
A new world order....where did I hear that? Oh, yeah. Old man Bush. Why does the chute have to always open?
Bellamy salute to flag. Just a little history............

Interestingly, the Pledge of Allegiance has changed over time:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pledge_of_Allegiance
1892 (first version) [1]
“I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
1892 to 1923
“I pledge allegiance to my Flag and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
1923 to 1954 [1]
“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
1954 (current version) [2]
“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all
I have to admit, I did not know the flag code. Never knew what to do with my hat. But this was written at a time when everyone wore a hat..............

The United States Flag Code states:
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all., should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute. Members of the Armed Forces not in uniform and veterans may render the military salute in the manner provided for persons in uniform.[
Captain and Brevet Lieutenant Colonel George T. Balch
http://www.goordnance.army.mil/hof/2000/2001/balch.html
Toward the end of his life, while auditor of the New York City Board of Education, he devoted much effort to promoting patriotism in the children of the nation’s public schools. A motto he drafted in this connection, “We give our heads and hearts to God and our country; one country, one language, one flag!” was adopted by a number of schools in many states. It was Captain Balch who proposed that flagpoles be erected on or in front of all the public schools in the nation, and he became nationally known for his work on this project.
“We give our heads and hearts to God and our country; one country, one language, one flag!”
Our generation, has little understanding of the history of flags. Our eyes go over the word with little understanding.
Bottom line is flags are for identification and communication.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag
During the High Middle Ages flags came to be used primarily as a heraldic device in battle, allowing more easily to identify a knight than only from the heraldic device painted on the shield
During the peak of the age of sail, beginning in the early 17th century, it was customary (and later a legal requirement) for ships to carry flags designating their nationality;[1] these flags eventually evolved into the national flags and maritime flags of today. Flags also became the preferred means of communications at sea, resulting in various systems of flag signals; see, International maritime signal flags.
Use of flags outside of military or naval context begins only with the rise of nationalist sentiment by the end of the 18th century; the earliest national flags date to that period, and during the 19th century it became common for every sovereign state to introduce a national flag
