During the debate last night Senator Ted Cruz was asked a direct question by Megyn Kelly about why didnt Senator Jeff Sessions endorse him. Cruz artfully avoided answering and instead deflecting his response to falsely accuse Donald Trump of sending Hillary Clinton four campaign contributions in 2008.
Senator Cruz never answered the question.
So why doesnt Senator Jeff Sessions support Ted Cruz? The answer is within this video:

Sundance has been mentioned by Rush. . because Rush is in the Treehouse. Still thinks it’s crap?
Or, it could be that Sessions likes them both, but thinks that it is better to unify behind Trump right now. That’s his perogative. To my knowledge, Sen. Sessions doesn’t care that Sen. Cruz was handing out medical supplies at the border while Glenn Beck was handing out Teddy Bears. If Sessions cares that much, HE should say so, rather than asking Sen. Cruz to be a mind reader.
Tin-foil hat time.
I do, think it’s crap, whatever Rush may or may not think.
“In a 2-man race, I say he would be ahead (and have been saying so for months).”
And you’ll probably still be saying it when Cruz suspends his campaign in 3 weeks.
The headline on this post is a lie.

Ted Cruz is a lie.
The latest Trump bashing goes like this: the evidence clearly shows, Trump has consistently supported establishment candidates, has given thousands of dollars to entrenched politicians, and has surrounded himself with long-time Republican establishment operatives....
IMHO, this says it all. Wonder no more why pols are afraid to take him on.
INCONVENIENT FACTOIDS --- All that time he was donating, Trump was not running for anything and used politicians to get business done. The calculating pols knew this, so Trump was on the politicians/ hit list as a sucker who/d write a check, no questions asked.....political extortion at its finest.
BTW, these same pols are lying low ...running scared now....
I would not be surprised if the candidates confided in Donald about their sordid love life, spilled damaging opposition research WRT their opponents and damning stuff about well-known pols---in order to get bigger donations.
They/re wishing now they hadn't said the things they did.......b/c Donald knows plenty.
The ONLY thing that stopped the Gang of 8 was Dave Brat being elected.
Cruz had nothing to do with it.
“post the marker for when the video talks about Jeff Sessions endorsing Trump for this reason”
Well...it doesn’t say that, in fact it says nothing about Jeff Sessions at all!
So. unless Sundance is Jeff Sessions, the headline is a lie.
CRUNCHING THE NUMBERS-—Cruz spent over $6 MILLION in Super Tuesday ads including a bundle in TX. He spent MILLIONS in advertising w/ a huge paid staff in South Carolina—a state he had to win.
All for naught.....Cruz/s long-planned strategy flopped....he bombed in SC and Trump kept him under 50% in Texas which meant Trump got some of those bell-ringing Texas delegates.
THE BIG WINNER Trump had only 5 paid staff in South Carolina, and spent less than $2 MILLION on advertising. Trump spent just over $1 MILLION on advertising in Super Tuesday states, and had minimal paid staff.
Trump financed a soap box and won.
Cruz is wringing out his long-suffering donors who say they/re being inundated w/ requests for money.
What does this portend for Cruz/s fiscal responsibility in office?
I guess the politcians that endorsed Rubio won’t be heard from again, Gowdy, Santorum, etc.
I do wonder about the “liberty preacher”
Cruz’ trip to the border to participate in Beck’s Foreign Invader Welcoming Party legitimized the invasion. When you’re welcomed by a US senator, that’s the green light.
Here’s a story about two of the ‘children,’ who swarmed across our wide open border—with Cruz’ imprimatur on the endeavor. For all we know, these two received their freebie soccer balls at the Welcome Party:
You are correct. I’m in Virginia. During the Brat/Cantor campaign, all anyone could talk about was that Cantor was pro amnesty (true). Cantor went down hard and caused a political earthquake in DC. They knew why he lost, ran into their holes, and changed their votes. Gang of 8 bill went crashing down. It would have passed if Cantor loss hadn’t shocked them out of their cute little plans.
Pretty much.
This might be a good thread to launch a pet peeve of mine. These free-spending candidates raise a heck of a lot of money-—that they can do with as they please.
We need to see their solicitation letters and emails to donors....b/c if the pol raised money for a certain initiative, then used the money elsewhere, that could constitute mail/electronic fraud....or bank fraud.

<><> Cruz donors say he is frantically begging for more money contacting them by mail and email several times a day. What/s he telling them he/s using the money for?
Cruz blew through tens of millions to launch his southeren strategy-—but lost badly in SC and on Super Tuesday in his home state of Texas he could not get 50% of the vote to win the huge pile of Texas delegates.
Cruz borrowed over a million from his Wall Street margin accounts for his Senate campaign...then told Mark Le vin he used the money for ads. But this was never reported to the FEC as required.
<><>Karl Rove’s PAC—American Crossroads-—raised $350 million to flack Romney who lost badly. What incentive did Rove use to get so much money from his donors?
“Cruz is in second place”
In other words, losing. The South was Cruz’s firewall and he blew it. Rubio has a better chance than Cruz at this point.
When it comes to lies and lying, Teddy and his tediban are the world class experts. So I defer to their expertise.
I’ve listened to Jeff Sessions discuss it. He said Ted Cruz was instrumental in stopping this bill and exposing the truth if what was in the bill. Rubio and Schumer, in true rat fashion, tried to push it through before anyone found out what was really on it.
