During the debate last night Senator Ted Cruz was asked a direct question by Megyn Kelly about why didn’t Senator Jeff Sessions endorse him. Cruz artfully avoided answering and instead deflecting his response to falsely accuse Donald Trump of sending Hillary Clinton four campaign contributions in 2008.
Senator Cruz never answered the question.
So why doesn’t Senator Jeff Sessions support Ted Cruz? The answer is within this video:

It was a stupid question to ask Cruz. All you can really say is, “Why don’t you ask him?” But that sounds snarky.
Cruz is in second place, and won three states that he was polling behind Trump just days before the voting (IA, OK, AK). He isn't in first, but he is in contention. In a 2-man race, I say he would be ahead (and have been saying so for months).

Stupid?
Everyone knows that Senator Sessions is an expert on all things immigration, and lobbies hard for immigration/illegal immigration control.
Cruz makes out that he was pivotal in defeating the Gang of Eight. In fact, he is running an ad here in Louisiana where it is claimed that by merely mentioning it was an amnesty bill, Cruz defeated the Gang of Eight bill all by himself.
The Senate overwhelmingly passed the Gang of Eight bill.
Cruz had absolutely nothing to do with defeating the Gang of Eight bill.
Cruz makes out that no one is tougher on immigration than he is.
Sessions endorsed Trump’s immigration policy.
Where does that leave Cruz with his claims?
Because Cruz is an arrogant putz who is hated by everyone. Sessions is not a moron. The only thing a Cruz nomination could cause is a landslide victory for Biden (Hillary behind bars).

Jeff Sessions says Cruz was pivotal in defeating the Gang of 8.
Sen Sessions is against the TPP. Trump has spoken many times about trade during debates.

Yes. Stupid. You may as well ask Cruz why Santorum picked Rubio instead of Cruz, Trump or Kasich to endorse.
If you want an answer to a question, as opposed to trying to trip somebody up, you ASK THAT PERSON.
One of the best things Trump has done on this campaign is calling out “reporters” on STUPID questions. Asking Ted Cruz what Jeff Sessions thinks about Donald Trump is a STUPID QUESTION.
Cruz is Goldman Sachs bought, and CFR paid for. Just a fact that Cruz supporters love to ignore.
Sessions said Brat’s defeat of Cantor is what stopped the Go8. You should look it up, and learn.
Btw, Cruz didn’t lift his littlest finger to help Brat in his tough, uphill battle. Cruz didn’t even post a supportive tweet, much less anything more substantial.
