Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump abruptly canceled his scheduled speech at CPAC Saturday morning as his campaign announced an appearance in Wichita, Kansas the day of that states caucus.
Likely factoring into Trumps decision was a planned protest walkout during his speech at CPAC and the need to have a campaign presence in Kansas.
The organizer of the walkout, William Temple, who parades around CPAC in colonial garb, told BizPacReview he expected one thousand CPAC attendees to participate in the Trump walkout.
Temple organized a similar walkout last year during Jeb Bushs speech at CPAC that drew around 300 protesters.

ROFL - good one !
Many participants in CPAC are neither conservative, nor patriotic. Wake and smell the coffee, they are mostly all career politicians, staying in the game by servicing their ultra-rich donors.
But if he isn’t for Trump 100% then he must be evil/a loser/ stupid/a phony/or _______
Oh puleeeez, Cruz isn’t going to win. He’s part of the D.C. establishment and we are sick of all of them!
“William Temple, who parades around CPAC in colonial garb”
bill’s so-called “garb” looks like it would work better with a peg leg plus a parrot perched on the hat. Arggggg!
What makes Rubio a big deal to conservatives? That’s like saying Sanders or Clinton not being there hurts CPAC.
So Trump’s going to campaign in black and Democrat districts but won’t campaign in conservative gatherings? Is he a coward or un-conservative or both?
Name me one place on earth where you’ll find more conservatives gathered in one spot than CPAC. Any true conservative candidate would never miss it.
Trump has the most patriotic and common sense plan. No illegals allowed, and brilliant foreign students preferred over low educated and low skilled immigrants sponsored by relatives.
I guess he goes as George II
George II? The king who led the British and their colonial dependents in North America to victory over the French in two big wars in the mid-eighteenth century?
If I was his secret service detail I would advise him not to go into the middle of a hostile place like that. It’s really not fair to his detail. Didn’t Glenn Beck say he wanted to stab him? Glenn is on the radio day in and day out hating him all over the place, who knows if he may snap or one of he or Cruz’s followers snap. I think Beck could take ‘rage boys’ place these days....DESTROY WHOMEVER INSULTS TED!!!!
he clearly restated his building a wall..... i heard him just now
you are ignorant or a liar
Yer nuts
5 reasons Trump is more establishment than Cruz:
Hillary didn’t attend Cruz’ wedding, she attended Trump’s
Cruz didn’t make 4 donations to Hillary’s presidential campaign, Trump did
Cruz didn’t donate to the Clinton Foundation, Trump did
Cruz didn’t say she’d be a great Secretary of State, Trump did
Cruz’ daughter isn’t best friends with Chelsea Clinton, Trump’s is
Why would the post be blocked?
They should call it ClownPACked
“George II? The king who led the British and their colonial dependents in North America to victory over the French in two big wars in the mid-eighteenth century?”
I do believe that he might be speaking of the same George II.
lol!
Wrong! If Rubio is attending CPAC as featured speaker, CPAC is a RINO-conservatives organization.
Good points
LOL, so now you're praising the exact legal immigration plan that Rubio and every establishment Republican has been for just because Trump, peace be up on him, signed onto it.
