Ted Cruz supporter William Temple was planning a walkout protest during his speech.

More from Kristinn:

Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump abruptly canceled his scheduled speech at CPAC Saturday morning as his campaign announced an appearance in Wichita, Kansas the day of that state’s caucus.

Likely factoring into Trump’s decision was a planned protest walkout during his speech at CPAC and the need to have a campaign presence in Kansas.

The organizer of the walkout, William Temple, who parades around CPAC in colonial garb, told BizPacReview he expected one thousand CPAC attendees to participate in the Trump walkout.

Temple organized a similar walkout last year during Jeb Bush’s speech at CPAC that drew around 300 protesters.

Probably needed more time to plan a new way of forcing our soldiers to commit war crimes.

Now I suppose they are going to throw a tantrum about Trump not coming, and spoiling their protest.

Good for Trump. He doesn’t need to go anywhere that has Glenn Beck as an honored guest. This morning Beck said he would have stabbed Trump if he was at the debate. What a loon, no wonder he and Cruz are buds.

People may not like it...and I know there are some at CPAC that would love to walk out on the man.

But the fact is, Trump is the result of a very broken GOP leadership.

This has resulted in a growing frustration and anger amongst Republican voters who have elected people promising to do one thing, and then seeing them not do it...and in fact do "other" things again, and again, and again.

Trump has focused in on the anger and frustration and provided not only an outlet...but provided an individual who is willing to get in the face of the MSM and the GOPe, to be completely politically incorrect to them, and who then says the very things that the frustrated electorate wants done.

This is resulting in a phenomenal attraction to Trump...and not just from the frustrated GOP voters. it is now extending to independents and even democrats who are also sick of the political establishment and who all want someone to go into that establishment and kick the house down.

They believe Trump is a person who will actually not just talk about it...but will go in and do it.

He is crass. He is irreverent. he is often prfane.

But everyone knows that already.

Romney knew it when he accepted his endorsement in 2012...and he knew it when he attacked him yesterday.

The people who want the country back and want the political establishment put in its place...and more likely run out of town on a rail...do not care about those things. detractors cannot use them against Trump.

The crass nature, the irreverence, and the profane nature of Trump all adds to the conviction that his supporters have that he will actually do the things he says.

This is the answer to what s happening.

It is too late for the GOPe or the MSM to stop the resulting tsunami during the GOP Primaries.

The establishment and politically correct MSM operative (which are what they are, passing themselves off as journalists...which they are not), are simply incapable of understanding this.

I personally believe it is also far too late for the DNC to do anything about it.

During the campaign for the general election, they will try to do the same types of things the GOPe and the MSM are doing. In fact, they will double down on it, particularly the Clinton machine.

It will not matter.

More and more democrats will join the tsunami.

The DNC will also be washed aside in this flood.

If it continues as it is now, Trump will likely win in a landslide...and these same prognosticators will be shaking their heads wondering what happened...just like the did when Ronald Reagan, whom they viewed as an ignorant, old, right wing, class-b actor, swept into the White House on a landslide...and then won a second term on an even bigger one.

I am a Ted Cruz supporter. I wish he could win the nomination and the Presidency. I believe he would be rock solid as a conservative and in support of the constitution.

But what I described above is the reality...and I do not believe any candidate, any "party" or any media outlet can stop it.

We simply have to do what we can for America, we have to pray (and fast) in beseeching God in Heaven to turn it for good.

And I think it can most definitely do so.

If Trump will do the things he has promised:

  1. Build the Wall.
  2. Send the illegals home
  3. Restrict the Muslim influx to this country until we can adequately vet them.
  4. Rip up every "Free Trade" agreement that is not a "Fair Trade" agreement with the US.
  5. Rip up the Iranian Deal.
  6. Change the tax code per his plan
  7. Entice US Corporations to come back to the US as he has explained.
  8. Overturn Obama Care and replace it with the type of Free Market system he has described.
  9. Rebuild the US Military and allow them to defeat our enemies.
  10. Negotiate internationally from a position of strength.
If Trump simply does those things and does them with the support of a Congress that is ushered in with his own victory.

Then American in fact will turn around and have the chance to become great again.

Anyhow, those are my feelings on it.

I so do hope this nut does not use indoor plumbing or any other modern convenience. He should stay off electronic devices which includes the Internet.

He should spend more time making America better.

This theme I see of Trump is beginning to bother me. He doesn't like Megyn Kelly, so he refuses to participate in the Iowa debate (but did go on last night). He wouldn't do a town hall style debate on Fox News. He has some people threatening to walk out on him (the guy claims 1,000, but it is probably less), so he goes somewhere else. But he has gone on MSNBC, NBC, CBS, CNN, ABC, etc.

This appears to be someone who does not care for more conservative venues, but is perfectly comfortable with leftists. That worries me. Obama has not appeared much on Fox News for most of his presidency and, for a while, his administration would not allow any of his people to go on Fox.

This is not saying that Trump has the same positions as Obama. But he appears to be the same thin-skinned narcissist-type personality.

Can a Trump person tell me where/why I am wrong? Or you can just call me names. All the same to me.

And after CPAC went to such length to let the log cabin guys in with the understanding that they could walk out on Trump...

Why don’t you go walk point in Afganistan for the weekend and see what you think after the experience?

Or, spend the weekend with ISIS.

Well said.

If Trump will do...

The only part where I have my nagging doubts.

If I may be so bold, sir. I do believe I understand your concern and see it has validity.

It is sound strategy to avoid an ambush. I’d argue that the most recent debate was an ambush and Trump shouldn’t subject himself to two in a row. Why give the media that video to play and that scene to talk about? Now the story is merely, “he didn’t go” without any images (other than that guy all dressed up, which won’t play).

So, Trump is out preaching to those that need to be converted, instead of preaching to the pews in the GOPe church. Well, that doesn’t seem so bad. I thought the Party wanted a bigger tent. Of course, he needs to preach to the choir and priests more...If they could be converted, or if they could convert him.

For me, I’m willing to accept things like Social Security or expanded Medicaid in exchange for Trump’s other positions. And, i don’t see how my previous dream-candidate Cruz would get elected or get anything done if elected. Lastly, I’d much rather it be American vs. World instead of Americans vs. Americans.

The real reason that
Romney &
Ryan came out of the woodwork & trashed Trump?

THEY FILED PAPERS WITH THE Federal Election Committee on JAN 30, 2016 to run for President & VP of the USA.-——34 days ago. They also filed papers for a fundraising entity called ROMNEY VICTORY, INC.\

They are both total POS persons, IMO.

They didn’t even have the gumption to tell the voters that they had filed & ere now running for the Republican Presidency.

Since they did so very poorly 4 years ago-—why do they think this should be a do-over?

ON WHAT PLANET???
