Police are investigating a North Texas mothers claim that two 8-year-old boys sexually assaulted her 8-year-old son during a school bus ride to an elementary school on the northwest side of Fort Worth.
On Fri., Feb. 19, NBC DFW reported that the unidentified parent expressed frustration that little has been done by the school or local authorities following the alleged incident. Although the date of the purported sexual attack remains unclear, the mother said the other two boys pulled down her sons pants, performed a sexual act, then beat up her son, a first grade student at Northbrook Elementary in the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District.

When I was that age I would not have had a clue about oral sex or that anyone would want to suck on body parts. Where in the Sam hill did those boys 8 years old learn about oral sex????
HOW ON EARTH can ANY MOTHER who cares about her kids, put them on a school bus to a PUBLIC SCHOOL.
It just SICKENS ME...so it’s hard for me to have any sympathy as to what happens on that bus (or in that school, for that matter).
Are you kidding? It’s NOT the mother’s fault.
The best reason to homeschool yet?
I thought that the public schools were bad when I was in them. They were, but noting like this ever happened.
Good question.
I cant even wrap my head around this.
These boys tried to what, grab onto this kids privates?!
Glad when I was 8, other kids just teased you. These days the kids are such perverts.
If this does not belong on the Moral Absolutes ping, what does?
“Are you kidding? Its NOT the mothers fault.”
Sorry, maybe the dad (maybe both). SOMEONE in that family forced the kid to go to a public school - sorry but I REFUSE to blame the kid. What the HELL were mom and/or dad expecting to happen, given their decision?
Unfortunately it is not healthy to put your kids in a bubble.
As the saying goes, in Texas there are steers and queers, ...
“Unfortunately it is not healthy to put your kids in a bubble.”
Depends on the alternatives...but I agree, sending ones kids into the CESSPOOL of public education is FAR SUPERIOR to having to live in a slightly smaller house, so as to maintain control of the influences, on those kids, from those that call themselves ‘teachers’.
Sick.
And just wait...as the weather gets warmer “ball tapping” season will begin, and I’m not talking about bunting to left field.
We need separation of SCHOOL and State.
It’s in the Constitution.
And stuff.
False dichotomy. You are presenting it as a choice between totally isolating a six-year-old or allowing him to be raped.
Stuff like this did happen, but it was covered up.
The churches had no monopoly on hiding sexual abuse.
Bill Donohue (of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights) posted a story about one week in NYC’s public schools, in which five attacks by school employees occurred. He wasn’t defending the priests who raped young boys, but instead pointing out the disparity in coverage when the Church was involved.
