Thursday on his radio show, conservative talker Mark Levin discussed a couple of awards he was set to receive, including a Talkers magazine award and an award honoring him as the 2016 Weyrich media person of the year.

It’s a whole racket.
It’s the reason I stopped listening to all of the radio shows.
No solutions, no results, just new ways of separating gullible conservatives from their money to get their daily dose of radio opium.
Conservative websites (outside of FR) are a mess of popups, floating ads, tons of Flash and Javascript that freezes your computer, and just terrible design.
Conservative magazines look like crap straight out of 1989. About as engaging as the AARP magazine in the dentist office.
I swear, I just don’t understand it. This used to be a place that put principles and positions above people, but now the Trump of Personality has taken over. I fear many Trump supporters have had that singular evil thought in my tagline...
You mean sort of like redstate for teddy milhous?
Just so.
Farmers and support industries to farming are just clodhoppers now.
Those folks aren’t going to cotton to this much.
Yet another elitist who takes and eats or uses what they produce and looks down his nose at them at the same time-or behind his back.
Some of us are so very “blindy” following that we do not automatically accept every thing that is said about Trump and, instead, actually investigate the accusations, most of which turn out to be not quite true.
Depends on the issue.
Hmm I not sure that when you throw punches for a living you really have much room to complain when you get punched back.
The most incredible thing is the paid endorsments for political activism groups. If you read the linked articles, it appears that advocacy groups will write the segments for the shows. At some point, it seems that the “sponsorship” of those segments should be disclosed.
If you are watching an infomercial , it usually starts with a disclaimer that its a paid advertising. No such thing on these radio shows.
At least Jim Cramer on CNBC has a disclaimer at the beginning and end, stating his pecuniary interest in matters presented on his show.
These hosts are biased.
It truly is a racket.

PAID FOR ENDORSEMENTS OF POLITICAL ACTIVISM GROUPS
But if youre a fan of Mark Levins radio show, youd have just as much cause to believe that Americans for Prosperity, a FreedomWorks rival, was the most effective conservative advocacy group. And, if Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity are who you listen to, youd be hearing a steady stream of entreaties to support the important work of the Heritage Foundation.

In search of donations and influence, the three prominent conservative groups are paying hefty sponsorship fees to the popular talk show hosts. Those fees buy them a variety of promotional tie-ins, as well as regular on-air plugs praising or sometimes defending the groups, while urging listeners to donate often woven seamlessly into programming in ways that do not seem like paid advertising.

No that is project of your behavior in regards to Cruz on to Breitbart
OK. I’ll bite.
What’s wrong with loving your country?
Why is ‘nationalist’ an insult to begin with?
Why aren’t ALL candidates nationalists?
So was Ronald Reagan
You lose.
Nah, redstate hasnt gone down that path. Making a candidate an idol is a trumpster thing
“...our old friend, that closet-queer Edmund Wright who used to post here...”
Wouldn’t surprise me one bit to find out that CEW is a pillow biting pole smoker. He was one of the most consistently antagonistic posters on FR for years.
Now you’re projecting. Conservatives who are critical of trump have become villains to trumpsters
Trump is s billionaire. Why does he need fundraises for him
I always thought of CEW as someone who actually believed his own press. I thought he posted here to prove how smart he is. Intellectually, anyway.
He didn’t want to read people, though.
Mark Levin fawns over Benjamin Netanyahu, a hardcore nationalist if there ever was one, and Levin isn’t even Israeli (as far as I know). Yet mildly nationalistic Trump is scorned by Levin for his nationalism. This is because Levin is actually an ethnocentric neocon merely posing as an American patriot.
It is to Levin. Thankfully his kind are being thrown out.
For many of them, he is like the latest, shiny new object. They will forget all about him by November, leaving us stuck with Hillary.
