A top aide to White House hopeful Donald Trump on Thursday thanked Mitt Romney after the 2012 Republican presidential nominee blasted the current GOP front-runner.
Dan Scavino, a senior Trump adviser, tweeted that the former Massachusetts governor had delivered "an incredible endorsement" for Trump.
Many political observers say Romney's address could play into Trump's hand, given Romney's status in the GOP establishment and Trump's campaign as a political outsider.

I’m still uncommitted (My primary is Mar 15) but this makes me a) hate Romney even more than I did before and b) drift towards Trump bc if this sissy hates him so much, Trump must be OK.

As a Cruz supporter I am convinced Romney did this to hurt Cruz!! I mean what could be better than to have an establishment TOOL attacking you.
Anyone who attacks Trump tonight will tie themselves to the hated establishment. Better concentrate on policy and no attacks or it will make lots of voters rethink anyone that is Mitts buddy. What a cartch 22 for them.
