Muslims can practically do whatever they want these days and no western government will prosecute them. They can rampage and literally burn down their homes and the civilization around them and nobody cares. They can attack and attempt to murder people who give them free food, water, and clothes. They can break into other people’s countries and then demand free things, and people submit to them. They even have their own government-backed Muslim only job fairs. Somehow, not only are these not crimes, but everybody else has to give their hard-earned money to these invaders.
But put a piece of bacon in a mosque? Hurt a Muslim’s “feelings?” Jail for life.
At least, that is what one Florida man is potentially facing for the same act.
Florida WESH News:
Michael Wolfe, 35, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief of a religious building, a third-degree felony, in January.
State Attorney Phil Archer said the vandalism was clearly hate motivated and it will not be tolerated. Archer’s office added a hate crime enhancement to Wolfe’s charges earlier this month. The new charge carries a possible life sentence.
Prosecutors said the enhancement was added because they believe Wolfe left a slab of bacon at the mosque, which is offensive to Muslims. He also slashed at windows and other property with a machete, prosecutors allege.
Archer said the charging decision is an indication of how seriously his office takes crimes of this nature.
Wolfe is being held without bail at the Brevard County Jail.

And a Crucifix in urine is "art". We have a mosque that was built here just sown the street and just finished about 6 months ago, I've yet to see anyone there.
I always flip the bird to it when I drive by.

Even a first year law student should be able to get the felony charge tossed and let him pay a littering fine.

And also making a statue of the Virgin Mary out of elephant dung. Has happened. Christianity and Judaism has been attacked with truly hateful art and speech and that’s okay. Say anything or do anything against a mussie then all the weight of the law comes down on you.
If the penalty for a slab of bacon is a felony conviction, you might as well go “whole hog” (ahem) and just burn the place down. Using bacon fat as an accelerant, of course.

That’s the danger of these kind of penalties. They incentivize more heinous acts, for the reason stated above.

I’m just waiting for the brazen display of the kangaroo-courts. Can’t be too far behind now that it’s ‘cool’ to be Leftist/Socialist these days.
Under the Trump administration one phone call and the guy is out on the street inside of 1 hours. Charges dropped.
Hate Crimes are unconstitutional. It is nothing but a way to control “thoughts”. It creates fascism and “re-education” camps.
The problem is that we removed “..the Laws of Nature and nature’s God” from our “Justice System” and are creating irrational, unnatural “Laws” that remove Free Will and Association for State beliefs which eject God—the arbiter of Good and Evil (never the State).
We used to have Freedom of Thought and Association but it has unconstitutionally been removed.
Now we get put in prison for certain “thoughts” which anger only some irrational religions and the State controllers. We used to have “laws” that were “Right Reason according to Natural Law” not allah’s or the State’s will.
The fact that the president has no pardon authority over state crimes, like most facts, matters not to the Trump fanboys. He will do it...he's a winner!

Bacon resulted in the enhanced “hate crime” charge.
The Constitution does NOT give authority to the feds in ANY WAY over so-called “hate crimes.”
You and I may have our personal views about “the Laws of Nature and nature’s God”, that’s fine. But the Constitution does basically ONE thing: delegate certain ENUMERATED powers to the federal government. The feds have NO AUTHORITY outside that which the Constitution has delegated and enumerated to the feds.
“The Laws of Nature and nature’s God” has been gradually incorporated for centuries into the common law which in various ways the states have adopted. And the fight he Laws of Nature and nature’s God” is a states’ issue for the people of each state to decide for themselves. Outside the Constitution the states are sovereign as confirmed by the Ninth and Tenth Amendments.
“Placing bacon is not a crime. Saying it doesn’t make it so.”
That was what gave the Great Ones running the show the opportunity to enhance the charge to a “hate crime.”
