Marco Rubio quietly cancels rallies in Kentucky and Louisiana

KENTUCKY - Marco Rubio was scheduled to appear at two campaign rallies in Kentucky and Louisiana this Friday. Both events are now cancelled according to the Rubio campaign.

Disappointed Rubio supporters planning to attend the Baton Rouge event received an email saying:

"In order to use Marco's time as efficiently as possible efore Saturday's contests, Marco will not be making a stop in Louisiana Friday night."

Rubio was scheduled to appear Friday morning 10:15 AM March 4 at the Lexington, KY Center's Bluegrass Ballroom and again at 6:45 PM Friday in Baton Rouge, LA. Websites for both events are still online. Rubio is still scheduled to appear in the Fox News Republican debate Thursday night.

Marco Rubio quietly cancels rallies in Kentucky and Louisiana

Marco Rubio only won one state after a poor showing on Super Tuesday. Many are speculating this may be the end of Marco Rubio's bid for the White House. What do you think?

He should just accept his participation trophy and give it up.

I have a hard time believing that Rubio is out. The GOPe has nowhere else to go so it seems to me that they will support him to the bitter end.

Personally I would like to see Trump and Cruz fight it out alone. That would be a classic. Trump would likely win but there is no guarantee.

It looks like everyone is abandoning most of the March 5 primaries to Trump, which is great. He’ll most likely chalk up more wins and the lions share of the delegates.

Doesn’t make sense for Rubio to be in the race at the same time as Romeny.

He’s been in trouble in Florida. But the GOPe plan has become “deny Trump the delegates to win at all cost” movement, so it’s desperation time in winner-take-all states.

We’re worth 99 delegates, so I expect Rubio will just camp out here bashing Trump for the next two weeks.

Good luck with that.

350,000 vote absentee Florida Republican vote have been cast already. And early voting here has started already in some counties. Broward county votes start March 5. Rubio is a goner.

That means he’s in trouble in Fl.

Or he is viewing Fla as his last stand and will go all out there.

This may mean that Willard the Mutt may be about to enter this race.

I would so love to see that backstabbing jackass get slammed by voters.

Maybe not out, just yet, but it is the beginning of a death spiral.

This may yet become a cage match between just Ted Cruz and The Donald. John Kasich may not even be a factor any longer.

The GOPe used him for Super Tuesday, and now he’s not needed anymore, he can’t win his home State, so he’s of no use to anyone...
