I do not see any viable route for Mitt to gain the Republican nomination, even through a brokered convention. He is tarnished goods, and without any fire to pursue the office of the Presidency.
It would be more likely to try to boost up John Kasich, who at least has clung furiously to the pursuit of elective support, minute though it may be.

I fear that a lot of people would. People grew to like him towards the end of the 2012 campaign. Hillary isn’t going to get the Obama cult out voting en masse. Plus the RNC will throw everything and the kitchen sink in support of this clown. Finally, I think most of the talking heads on radio would convince their various followers that this is the best thing to happen in this election.
While its all speculation on my part, I could see Democrat turnout being lower this election and independents flocking to him after the past 8 years of Obama and Hillary’s grating voice. I’m almost certain FL and OH are going to flip this cycle regardless of who is running as the (R). It wouldn’t take much for him to win.
I really, truly feared something like this would happen. Assuming the used car salesman liberal runs, this primary is going to be an all out war since Romney loves to trash anything resembling Conservatism unless its his “severe” brand.
I hope Trump and/or Cruz go full throttle against Romney if he is getting in the race. D.C. is certainly terrified of losing the gravy train.
I’d like to see Trump hire Candy Crowley to sit in the front row.
Let me get this straight, the GOP has been saying that Trump is NOT a Conservative and that voting for him would be a disaster, but its A OK to bring out Romney, yep he’s a REAL Conservative, that’s why Conservatives in 2012 stayed home
