I am so glad trump is sbowing us all the disingenuous nature of the gop. It almost makes me understand why some peole are actually democrats. This has been the greatest primary of my entire life. In some ways better than reagan.

I came so close last year to subscribing to the Weekly Standard. I’m so thankful I didn’t make that mistake.

For those of you who receive the rag - cancel it. Most of the Standard’s money comes from advertising not from subscriptions (which hardly cover the cost of sending it out)... So do the world a favor stop supporting the GOPe.

If there was ever a doubt in some peoples' minds that the GOP establishment types only want the uni-party candidates in power, it is arch-conservative Bill Kristol openly admitting in public that Trump shouldn't be elected and that lying democRAT b*tch Hillary would be a better choice. WTF?

Why? Because he's not THEIR guy. Well, guess what Kristol? Yeb Bush wasn't MY guy nor is Marco Rubio, the establishment's new bloom, MY guy. I don't like the losers the elite keep foisting upon the GOP electorate.

The GOP establishment wants a LOSER to take the place of the WINNER. Only in America. Sad day.

Not only will they hand the election to Hillary, but down-ticket Republicans will lose as well. The GOPe needs to man up and make peace with Donald Trump as best they can, it is a lose/lose situation for them, and for us.

I’m disappointed that my home state, Texas, went with Cruz,
but if Cruz is the candidate, I will force myself to vote for him.
We MUST vote for whoever is the Conservative candidate.
If you stay home, vote ‘write in’, it’s a vote for the evil Hillary.

When the time comes, people will dangle from lightposts.

I wonder if Bill will be one?

"The problem with the Establishment brokering a behind-closed-door deal that hands the nomination to a Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)79% , is that the backlash against the Republican Party is almost certain to hand Hillary Clinton the presidency. "

In fact, it would unelect every Republican in the nation.

Bill Kristol has ONE VOTE. Just like the rest of us - that must piss him off beyond words... I suggest he take his one vote and join the democrat party. He hates the idea of ‘the people’ having a say equal to the elites just as much as democrats hate it...

The difference between a ‘little tax here’ or a ‘little less there’ is NOT defining... Believing in equal rights for all of us is defining... and we don’t want his type in our party any more. Go Bill Kristol... go be with the liberal elites - it’s where you belong.

Kristol has never repudiated his father--the "Godfather" of the Neocon aberration's admitted idolization of Leon Trotsky, the butcher of the Bolshevik Revolution, & certainly one of the most evil Leftists of the 20th Century.

Kristol & his partner Barnes have long been propagandists for ultra liberal immigration policies.

Trump is a natural Conservative. Ideologically he is a "work in progress," going through the wake up process that all of us went through at some time in our lives.

Consider Trump: Metaphor For American Conservatism.

What would happen is that we would likely alienate his supporters and we would likely lose the presidential election. But their position is that it would be better for us to lose the [general] election than to have Donald Trump tear the Party in half as the nominee.

Who ties his shoes in the morning? Does he think this Banana Republic maneuver will NOT tear the party apart?

Which is why they are now hoping Ted stays as long as he can to take some delegates.
Once Ted does then the establishment comes in and backstabs him.

And there you have it: proof positive of what we’ve known all along: the GOPe is nothing but the minority partner of the Uniparty, but that’s quite good enough thank you very much, just so long as the gravy train keeps rolling right along, what with all of those free shrimp cocktails and caviar at the posh gala D.C. soirées, free jet trips around the world, free five star hotel living, free five star restaurant dining, and free skybox seats at the major league sporting events, all paid for by we peasants and lobbyists.

I’m sure Kristol will be quite pleased when President Hillary Clinton drives the final nail in the U.S. Constitution’s coffin when she appoints Barrack Hussein Obama to the Supreme Court to replace the late Antonin Scalia.

The U.S. Constitution will thus finally be permanently relegated by the “Progressives” to its well deserved position as a historically curious piece of dusty parchment scribbled by a bunch of dead white men, and any rights you may formerly have enjoyed under its former protection will be gone forever. When they come to confiscate all of Kristol’s firearms, I hope he remember’s his proudly principled support of President Hillary Clinton.

A pipe dream. To do this would not be to discard the leading candidate, but the two leading candidates, promoting a third who will be running on policies anathema to the first two and their supporters, depending on tribalism instead to hold the party together. I don't think that would work even with the brainlessly tribal Dems.

Hence defeat, and the known hazards of a Hillary Presidency (three Supreme Court justices, corruption, foreign policy disasters, socialist medicine, the whole nine yards) would be exacerbated by the loss of the Senate and very possibly the House as well. Is control of a moribund party worth all that? Because the Republican party will not bounce back from that sort of a self-inflicted disaster.

Kristol is, I hope, blowing smoke. He hasn't the personal authority to enact anything of the sort; the fear is that someone who does will be equally short-sighted.

You know Billy boy we really didn’t like or care much for McLame nor Mittens but when they got the nomination we backed and voted for them. We never thought or mentioned to vote for Obama as a spiteful tact against you GOPee losers.
You show yourselves to be the biggest fools evah. Scrooge the whole lot of you elitist pukes.

Neo-con Washington cocktail party circuit elitist GOP puke refuses to endorse Trump if he is the nominee? Big surprise. Yawn.

Those that say that they will let Hillary win if Trump is the nominee are lying or incredibly stupid. Most likely the former. It is a ruse to move your vote from Trump to anyone else. If they really wanted Hillary to have at least two Supreme Court nominees, they would be direct Hillary supporters and not a supporter of another Republican candidate.
