Rubio's Minnesota finish will allow his campaign, at long last, to call him a winner. The freshman Florida senator is in dire need of a spark to help him continue making the case to party leaders, donors, and anti-Trump voters that he remains the best hope to stop the billionaire businessman from romping to the nomination.

That argument will be proved wrong again.
Minnesota is never a good electoral barometer. It almost always picks the loser. Trump was not predicted to win Arkansas, but he did. Oklahoma is probably the most conservative state in the union so it is no surprise Cruz won there.
I will not be part in putting in a Anchor baby or Non qualifier
Minneapolistan! There is your answer!
Did the feel good as you wrote that bit of (your) wishful thinking? Sorry, I just don't see it at this point.
Crud, that means Marco will stay in the race and we will continue to listen to his mile-a-minute demagoguery.
Good, more people in the race splits the anti Trump vote and Trump will coast to victory. Cruz must be pretty upset at Minnesottans
Marco Jubio
Trump has not peaked if he starts talking specific policy and quits the bashing of other candidates’ personal qualities and slams them hard on their political positions and history.
He has the electorates’ attention. He now must win their political hearts and minds. Please grow up Mr. Trump.
“Trump has peaked. Look for Carson & possibly Kasich to quit the race. And then Cruz and Rubio will take turns thumping the Trumpster.”
In your dreams! Carson and K-sick are staying in ( they say so). Rubio will be gone when he looses Florida in a few days. Cruz has shown us all that he’s a very limited candidate in terms of states where he can win. He too will be gone by early next month. But you enjoy your dream while it lasts.
yeah I saw that, used to seeing maps like these for elections. I guess things change.

“Trump is suddenly not looking so tough.”
Good observation. He only won seven states tonight, more than twice as many as Cruze and 7 times as many as Rubio.
And the delegate count is Rubio 12, Cruz 12 and Trump 8. Not much of a win in the proportional system.
“Trump has peaked. Look for Carson & possibly Kasich to quit the race. And then Cruz and Rubio will take turns thumping the Trumpster.”
If you only had a brain.
“Trump has peaked.”
Snort...yea.. You keep telling yourself that.

“Where the prostitutes in California come from...”
Somenone here on FR told me that Colorado is getting a big percentage of it’s new residents from MN. He does emissions testing for cars and he says the cars from MM outnumber those from CA. I guess that might be a clue to how Colorado votes now.
Did anyone catch his excruciating interview with Bret Baier? Marco tried to spin the night into a series of losses for Trump because his margins weren’t big enough.
Called it ‘erosion’. Baier didn’t buy his nonsense. It made my teeth hurt.
I’m not seeing how some are claiming that this was Trump getting schlonged.
I don’t really see any major upsets or surprises in todays results. Polls seem to have been off as to the numbers, but the results are the same.
I never did see much about OK polls, but not earthshattering news that Cruz carried it.
TX still only has Cruz at 44%, so unless there’s a bunch of Molson Beer trucks full of ballots somewhere, it doesn’t look like he’ll get the 50% + 1 that he so desperately needed
Yeah, Trump had a good run while it lasted. Maybe he can win that little state called Florida before he finally packs it up. No path forward to Cleveland.

Rubio won the state that voted against Ronald Reagan twice. I’m sure that will make the establishment proud.
I saw one earlier that had TX county by county, but please don’t ask me to remember where :)
Minnesota is a caucus, there are no voting machines, it’s about a ground game in a caucus. Which organization can get their voters to the meetings determines the winners. Rubio went to Minnesota and spent money to build a team there.
