Congressman Rep. Steve King (R-IA) 79% appeared on Breitbart News Daily Tuesday morning to support Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% in todays crucial primary elections and to warn that the GOP Establishment is determined to punish Trump and Cruz supporters, and they could even tacitly get behind Hillary Clinton as someone they can do business with if Cruz or Trump wins the nomination.

So the GOPe finally takes off their mask and reveals what we’ve known for years, that they are in cahoots with the Rats, and we truly have a Uniparty.
They have supported Obama for this long and are in good health. They aren't afraid.
If this is true then the GOP is finished, and good riddance!
The chances that Steve King will vote for Hillary are zero.
King is saying that the party establishment will do it, not that he will.
Sheesh.
What are you talking about??? Steve King supports Cruz, but recognizes that supporters of Trump and Cruz will come under fire from the establishment if either of them gets the nomination. King is not part of the establishment and has already come under fire from them for backing Cruz. NO WHERE does he say he will support hillary over Trump. Where in this article did you get that idea???
This is one bizarre thread.
I read it just fine. King has done stuff for Cruz that hasn’t been particularly ethical, so for me, RIFing King is on my list.”When you raid the whorehouse, you take the piano player too.” I guess though, we should all be a bit worried at just how far the GOPe is prepared to go to retain their power. I never imagined that the GOPe was essentially an organized crime family masquerading as the Republican Party Leadership. Personally, I think that Trump is the only candidate equipped to deal effectively with the GOPe because all of the rest of the candidates have to have “donor money” to play, and so they will fold when push comes to shove. And if we don’t take this opportunity to slay the dragon that is the GOPe, I am convinced we will no longer have a country governed in any way by our Constitution. At 75, this isn’t about me, because it is unlikely to affect me for the time I have left, but I have three children and five grandchildren all of whom mean the world to me.
“This is one bizarre thread.”
A lot of people confuse Representative Steve King (R-IA) with Representative Peter King (R-NY).
Same with Representative Pete Sessions (R-TX) and Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL).
Yes, a uniparty...but don’t lump Steve King in with the establishment. Please read the article first (it’s very difficult on this thread for some reason).
Huh? King is supporting Cruz and is saying the party people will abandon the nominee if Trump or Cruz win. He’s not doing it, he’s commentating on others doing it.
This site needs to get a new name...the Knee-jerk Republic. Just attack, attack, attack without any comprehension of what a person is saying. Lord have mercy.
exactly why the GOP-e has to be retired ASAP!
I want you to run for office.
Maybe so (and you’re very charitable, lol).
FReepers would be terrible at the old “Telephone” game. One person gets the message wrong and it starts a chain reaction of misdirected outrage. :)
Yes. Some posters seem determined to misunderstand King.
This should be a major topic at the debates. I have held my nose and voted for everyone of their diet democrats they have nominated as a Republican. Now that they don’t get their guy they are throwing a fit. If anyone of them says this publicly they should be pressured to leave the party.
Sorry, I read it wrong. Yes, King is referring to the GOPe, not himself. On the other hand, I no longer like either King or Cruz. Not sorry about that one iota.
It’s so bad that it’s almost funny.
*shaking my head*
Lol, okay. Fair enough. :)
I saw him on one of the cable news shows Monday night. He was totally disgusting trashing Trump..this threat by our GOP betters. I don’t think they even care who wins as long as the candidate doesn’t interrupt their gravy train.
