For months now, Donald Trump has spouted the same line on immigration, promising to build a border wall and deport people here illegally. Last night, he admitted he would not deport the 11 million people in the United States illegally....
Trump appeared on Sean Hannity's show.... Here's the key transcript:
"We had a board meeting [at the New York Times], it was off-the-record, suddenly they leak it..." Trump said."They said it's negotiable on the wall," Hannity said...
"By the way it is negotiable. Things are negotiable," Trump said.
Trump was quick to add that the negotiation does not include nixing the idea altogether.
"Building it? Not negotiable."
"Would it be negotiable about the 11 million?" Hannity pressed. "Maybe let some people stay if they register in a period of time?"
"I would say this," Trump added, "we will work out some system that's fair, but we either have a country or we don't. We need a border. We need a wall."
Here's Rubio at the CNN debate last week:
before we do anything on immigration, we are going to secure the border. And, that's not just the physical border with Mexico, it's Visa overstays. That's 45 percent of the problem right there.It also has to do -- that's why we need e-verify, and entry-exit tracking system, and so-forth. And, until that happens, we're not doing anything else. And then we'll see what the American people are willing to support";
Those are exactly the same positions - build the wall, then figure out what to do with the people already here. There is literally no daylight between the Rubio and Trump positions on immigration.

In fairness to Limbaugh, his first hour and a half was extremely pro-Trump. I support Cruz and it was irritating.
I think he’s trying to stay as ‘on the fence’ as possible.
All those actions except maybe tuition are agains current Federal Law, they could start by directing the Attorney General to enforce those laws.
What did he say about Carson?
What has he said about Cruz?
Are those policy based differences or personality/character based statements.
How many times have our previous oh... 10 Republican presidents called someone a liar, nasty, pedophile, “look at that face”, etc... I would bet that Trump had that number beaten before February 1st.
Now, flip that around and ask how many times have democrats attacked someones looks. How many times have they called someone a liar when they are the ones lying. How many times has a democrat president impugned someone’s character?
So, who's running like a democrat?
hmmmmmm... didn’t see a word about deportation in that post!
So much BS, so little time!
In the quotes from Trump, every seems to ignore this important sentence. In response to Hannity’s inquiry about the 11 million illegals here, Trump ACTUALLY responded:
Trump was quick to add that the negotiation does not include nixing the idea altogether.
Building it? Not negotiable.
Would it be negotiable about the 11 million? Hannity pressed. Maybe let some people stay if they register in a period of time?
I would say this, Trump added, we will work out some system thats fair, but we either have a country or we dont. We need a border. We need a wall.
“I would say this. I’ve always said we have some good people over here, AND THEY ARE GOING TO GO OUT. But we will work out a system that’s fair. But we either have a country or we don’t. We need a border. We need a wall.”
Trump did NOT back down from deportations. And he has ALWAYS said we’ll find a way to let the “good ones” back in, through the process, which also will include VETTING.
Trump said.. “the illegals are going home.”
Now.. suddenly, that’s not the case at all.
This shows yet another example of policy shapeshifting. So, my question is.. how do you KNOW Trump will “get something for us?”
His kids stick by him and seem to be decent.
His family is broken. That's just a fact, not an assault. Not all couples belong together. Who raised his kids? Maybe it's Ivana that deserves most of that credit.
Where did he explain the “Vetting” process?
—I haven’t seen him explain it.
Is it like a job interview or will he search databases maintained by third world countries that have little to no information and absolutely no controls?
We are seeing and experiencing that right now with the Obama regime. So we will go from the Obama REGIME right into the Trump REGIME...
Money talks.
Sending Illegals home is scary?
Balancing the budget is scary?
What planet are these people from!
Now.. suddenly, thats not the case at all.
And sadly I feel after he takes up residence in the WH he will shut up and close the doors just like Obama has done for the past 8 years. We won't even be able to question him on what he is not doing....Totally Narcisstic behavior of not owning the problem.
We will be left like dumb sheep who have lost a shepherd , fending on our own and sadly we will watch our country die.
He may be your shepherd , he’s not mine. The next thing to ask, ok, he’s sending them back, then he will let the good ones back in, WHAT IS HIS PLAN THEN, AMNESTY. He hasn’t told us what happens when they come back.
“Where did he explain the Vetting process?
I havent seen him explain it.”
STop it! You people want management specifics! WHO else have you asked this of..NO ONE!! AND NO ONE has given specifics like you are demanding for God’s sake. Cruz/Rubio barely mentioned immigration when they announced.
What did the Candidates say about immigration in their announcement speeches? http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3396178/posts
The only reason they give a rip now is because of Trump and to spread their lies.
Here’s something worth talking about!
Ted Cruz is profiting from stolen Trump campaign contributions by NRSC. MORE Dirty Tricks!
FUND raisers for Cruz

The NRSC (which Cruz helped operate) is who is stealing campaign contributions from Trump supporters...and Ted is profiting from it.
Debt Retirement Reception@ National Republican Senatorial Committee (Gotta help pay off Goldman Sachs loans!)
Beneficiaries: Ted Cruz
Contribution: $2,000; $1,000 (suggested contributions at event)
More on the scams against Trump by NRSC, NRCC & the RNC..NONE of which Rush, Levin or Hannity will touch! YOU need to ask them why!???

Everything after it. "...it's Visa overstays. That's 45 percent of the problem right there." If that's 45 percent of the problem then what's a wall going to do to halt that? "It also has to do -- that's why we need e-verify, and entry-exit tracking system, and so-forth." We have e-verify. Apparently it isn't working if we have 11 million people in the country so why is he depending on it? "And, until that happens, we're not doing anything else. And then we'll see what the American people are willing to support" And after sticking his finger into the wind, if the American people don't support sending the illegals and their families home then do they get to stay?
I do hope you're wrong on that one. I'm not a Trump backer, but if and when he's nominated, he's going to need to be dragged across the finish line, because he's the weakest of all the Repubs against Hillary. My vote in November will be against Her Infernal Malevolence.
Cruz is the only one, between Trump and Cruz, that has acted on his anti-GOP establishment sentiments and has actively fought them tooth & nail....
while all Trump has done is “lip service” (typical liberal lies).
But nice try.
