If I heard correctly when I turned on the morning headlines on Fox&Friends, they said Trump was ahead in the polls in 8 states.

They also said Rubio has to accumulate 100 delegates today or it is probably over for him. They also said he could have wins in zero by the end of counting today.

It’s very disheartening how many are open primaries.

No wonder the base gets no respect by the politicos.

Thanks for the primer.

I do not understand the political theory behind open primaries. Why should a non-republican get to pick the republican candidate? That’s like allowing someone who is not a shareholder of a corporation to elect members of the board of directors.

It's no different than allowing hostile media celebrities to vet Republican candidates on TV shows. Or like letting McDonald's vet the COO candidates for Burger King.

"Be it resolved, we the voting members of the Republican party will NEVER nominate a self-avowed liberal Democrat (in word and deed) with current association to Democrat candidates, to be the Republican candidate for President of the United States." Submit to precinct and SD county conventions. ‪#‎neverTrump‬
