Donald Trump's KKK connection in dad's Klan riot arrest

Racism reportedly runs in the family, when it comes to the Trump Klan.

Trump’s late father, Fred Trump, was arrested following a Ku Klux Klan riot in Queens in 1927, according to a bombshell report that further suggests unusual ties between the 2016 front-runner and the notorious white supremacist group.

Fred Trump Sr. was among seven men arrested following a May 30, 1927 brawl between members of the KKK and the New York Police Department, according to The Washington Post, which unearthed news articles from the June 1, 1927 edition of The New York Times.

The elder Trump’s role in the brawl was unclear, The Post reported, and there is no proof in the report that he was a member of the KKK.

I think maybe the (FR) title should be edited to advise its B.S. nature...

So, the latest is Trump is a racist? Jeez... does any thinking person actually believe that?

And Trump completely owns the news cycles before Super Tuesday. Good luck trying to get some attention Cruz and Rubio.

He plays the media like a fiddle and they fall for it every time.

Trump’s Klan connection is only 90 years in the past. That is recent enough to decide my vote.

“The same thing happened with Ron Paul. I really think that Duke is some sort or gun-for-hire, willing to endorse an opponent for the highest bidder. Seriously.”

Maybe. In fact, probably. Duke is crook that bamboozles his followers, like so many of that sort.

That does not mean, however, that Duke did this in a vacuum. I occasionally peruse white supremacist websites out of morbid curiosity.

The KKK and skinheads are, as a group, extremely pro-Trump, which is pretty funny, given Trumps has a wife and two kids who are Jewish (as are all or most of Trump’s grandchildren).

Drumpf is not KKK, but he is a fraud. A lot of people I once thought were smart are being flimflammed by this guy.

Trump was born June 14, 1946. The brawl took place in 1927. So racism leaped into the very genes that would become part of Donald Trump, and stayed there dormant for 19 years.

What do you expect from the daily news? the daily news is a rag written for low IQ people who can’t read words of more than 3 syllables. It is sensational and stupid.

1927? Why isn’t there a story how Donald behaved in his mother’s womb for crying out loud.

I remember seeing this reported on CNN back then. Something about “Fat Tony” Salerno taking on David Duke’s clan.

If I recall correctly, this was during the Memorial Day parade, in Fred Trump’s neighborhood. It was a holiday, and all kinds of people were out, and all kinds of groups were marching, and lots of fights broke out.

It is pure innuendo to allude that he was with the KKK. He could just as easily have been fighting against the KKK, or to have been in an unrelated drunken brawl outside the local bar that day.

The St.Patrick’s Day Parade in NYC has long been an occasion for widespread drunk and disorderly behavior, with the young bucks butting heads.

The liberal media spends significant amounts of time going back in the early life of Republican candidates trying to find something they can use against him. They interview people who knew him and jot down only the embarrassing things.
They do not do this for democrats.

Non-white advocacy = okay, righteous, moral, justified, encouraged, officially approved and funded, codified into law and rigorously, aggressively enforced

White advocacy = taboo, wrong, immoral, hateful, proscribed, off-limits, censored, warrants violent protests and assaults, banishment from forums

Donald Trump's KKK connection in dad's Klan riot arrest

Ah yes, the ol' "corruption of blood" smear. This fallacious European tactic was specifically rejected during the founding phase of our nation. It is not compatible with the American character.

More clumsy propaganda from the truly dangerous crowd that will just make American voters even angrier.

Keep it up, guys, and before you know it, you'll have a full-throated fighting Revolution on your hands.

The good Americans who are helping Trump secure the nomination will be quite capable of keeping him in check, should the need arise, which I don't think it will.

And the Congress and Courts will fulfill their role in providing checks and balances to the power of the President, and each other.

That's how a republic such as ours is supposed to work. And when it fails to do so, it isn't just the fault of the abuser(s), but also of the co-equal branches of government which are too cowardly to curtail them.
