CLAIM: GOP'S SECRET PLAN TO BLOCK TRUMP, EVEN BY ELECTING HILLARY
WorldNetDaily ^ | 2/28/2016 | Jerome Corsi

Posted on 02/28/2016 3:25:25 PM PST by Plummz

[Roger] ” Stone... told WND:

"GOP establishment plan to steal the nomination from Trump & to thwart the popular will, and they don’t care if they lose. Trump threatens all the establishment GOP leaders’ cozy deals. He’s a threat to the lobbying class. ... to the consultant class, ... globalists.”

... “If Rubio cannot win Florida, then Rubio drops out & Romney is in.”...

“If Trump does not win enough delegates to carry the nomination on the first ballot, there’s no way he will be president... On the second ballot, the GOP establishment figures enough delegates, including the 210 GOP superdelegates, can be pounded together to make Romney the GOP nominee in 2016.”

...

“Democrats and the GOP in Congress both want to continue open borders, to introduce amnesty for the illegal immigrants already in the United States, to give the green light to the Trans-Pacific Partnership and ship more millions of jobs overseas, and to expand the welfare state and retain Obamacare, and to allow Goldman Sachs and their friends on Wall Street to make all the money"

...

“GOP establishment has lawyers right now checking filing deadlines to make sure Romney can yet be registered in the big primaries remaining, including New York, New Jersey and California,” .

...

2012: ... rules committee decision to replace with Romney supporters 10 of Maine’s 24 delegates pledged to support Ron Paul ... stopped Maine from submitting Ron Paul’s name in nomination.

“ ... although Romney had enough delegates to win the ballot on the first ballot, the establishment GOP leaders wanted to avoid a floor fight so GOP could present a united front to the American public,” Stone noted. “It’s the same this year. By controlling the rules committee, the GOP establishment seeks to control the nominating convention.”

...even they know it would be better for them to support a Trump Presidency than to lose the party base forever.

Absolutely they know that!

It seems to me that the GOPe is so insular that they think they have to save us all from Snidley Trumplash by inserting Mittley DoRight of the Not-royal Conundrum Mounting Rinos. Message to the GOPe its over. Revolution has come. Trump will be president

The GOP establishment is either shockingly stupid, or they want Trump to win. My guess is that they are simply morons. If the establishment shills for Hillary, they will boost Trump’s support among disaffected democrats (especially Bernie voters) far more than they hurt him among republicans.

The number is 54% according to Stone. For Democrats the number is closer to 60% for Sanders, because the Dems have more superdelegates.

The danger is that many of the delegates pledged to Trump (or Cruz, I suppose) on the first ballot won't be real Trump supporters, but rather stooges chosen by the state party heads who all answer to the RNC. So those "Trump delegates" could easily wind up voting for Romney or Rubio on the second ballot if Trump doesn't win on the first ballot.

trump is darn sure going to make sure that he has more then enough delegates to get past the first round. And if they still try to screw him watch out...

Excellent!

And let the record show that Dr. Jerome Corsi is one of the favorite guests on Alex Jones’ program.

Plus he’ll probably hand the U.S. Senate over to the Dhims.

It might be so bad at the convention that all of the elites will be too afraid to show up. I’d love to see some limos get “attacked” with McCain, McConnell, Romney, Graham et all in them. Then show them get out down the road somewhere and everyone of them pissed their pants.

I guess after FL Cruz and Rubio better team up. I don’t want a soul voting for Hillary. Sessions is a good man.

That's laughable. If Romney is inserted in this election by some means he'd fall flat on his face. He is a terrible campaigner and personifies exactly what most GOP voters abhor....the Status-Quo agenda that is killing this country.

If it is perceived that the GOP insiders sabotaged this election to give the presidency to Hillary because they didn't want Trump, the party will take a very huge hit that it will never fully recover from.

The Republicans need to stop Trump or face an NSA data dump of their records. Those are the stakes. It’s life or death.
