The MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry is officially out at the network.
Two days after Ms. Harris-Perry publicly stated she felt worthless to NBC News executives after several weeks of pre-emptions for her namesake weekend morning show, an MSNBC spokesman on Sunday confirmed that the network and Ms. Harris-Perry were parting ways.

Ugly inside and out.
An example of when Ego outpaces ability.
What the hell is she going to do now? She sure ain’t going to BET. To them, she’s too white. Sure as hell there weren’t any black people watching her stupid show.
Wherever she lands, it’ll be where there are white Americans who hate white people.
So, probably NPR is where she goes — for all the the sensible liberal-assed Volvo wagon driving set from New England who live on white picket fence lanes named after a vanquished Indian tribe. Liberal-assed white people from private colleges with kids named Finn and Olivia — Finn probably autistic and bouncing around in the back of the Volvo wearing a helmet and Olivia morose and dark and already reading lesbian suicide poetry.
Gee! Wouldn’t it be great if they could hear one of those sassy women of color like they see on the television rant about Republicans and make them feel good and cool and hip about welcoming of different points of view? Maybe she’ll even have some of that urban hip hop music to open her NPR show.
They hope that she doesn’t actually come VISIT them in Quinebaug Cove with her loud angry black woman voice, though. That would just ruin the Spring Kayak races!
If she was really sincere those tampons would be black...... she’s just a poseur presstitute.
According to her MSNBC page, she was on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon.
So they could always put cartoons on in her place.
...she doesn’t like having her hard work seized and redistributed by overlords who don’t care?
She calls me a “racist” when I say I don’t like that.
The liberals are cannibalizing. See, the other side does it too.
Without Christ, we’re all lost.
I think she's already a Professor of Tokenism at Wake Forest University.

From 2015:
The IRS has placed a tax lien on MSNBC weekend host Melissa Harris-Perry and her husband, James Perry, for owing roughly $70,000 in delinquent taxes, the Winston-Salem Journal reported.
Ms. Harris-Perry, a Wake Forest University professor, explained in an email that she was unaware of the tax lien but knew about the debt, the newspaper reported Wednesday.
If she was really sincere those tampons would be red!
Unbelievable! Who knew Wake Forest was such a crap school? Look what they are teaching there:
Are you freaking kidding me?

Melissa Harris-Perry is the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair at Wake Forest University.
This semester Professor Harris-Perry is teaching:
Black Lives Matter
How has the meaning of racial justice transformed over the course of the 20th and early 21st century in America? What political changes, forms of resistance and societal shifts have contributed to and produced these variations? In polarizing political times, how can we more closely approximate a more racially just world? This course is an effort to understand the contemporary web of social, political, economic, and direct actions operating under the broad theme of Black Lives Matter. Drawing on broad, interdisciplinary approaches, this class will contextualize the long history of racial justice, non-violent, and anti-racist political movements within academic historical, social scientific, and legal frameworks. The course also seeks to develop the critical questioning, writing, and engagement skills of students.
Wake the Vote
Wake the Vote is a deep immersion program of citizenship education for a highly selective group of Wake Forest University undergraduate students. Building on the opportunity of the 2016 election year, Wake the Vote offers students the opportunity to form a diverse cohort working together over the course of an entire calendar year to experience American democracy from the front lines through travel, participatory action, employment, course work, program planning, and personal reflection.
She’ll wind up at RT, Press TV, or Al-Jazeera.
They’re a b’ball powerhouse, right?
Gotta have some courses that the boys can pass.
