Ted Cruz speculated on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Donald Trump may be hesitant to release his tax returns because of “Donald's business dealings with the mob, with the mafia.”
“ABC, CNN, multiple news reports have reported about his some dealings with, for example, S&A Construction, which was owned by 'Fat Tony' Salerno, who is a mobster who is in jail,” Cruz said Sunday morning. “Maybe his taxes show those business dealings are a lot more extensive than has been reported.”

This crap is getting totally out of control.
Cruz said this on ABC. And he said it on NBC. So it’s no slip of the tongue. It was planned. I would expect such a move from Hillary, but not from Cruz. I’m done with him.
As an aside, has Trump said anything just as bad? Maybe, but that’s not the topic here. The topic is Cruz’s remarks. And they were Clinton-like.
This is funny as hell. Will this help Cruz? Probably not. Will this hurt Trump (with his core voters) No.
Will this help the democrats? Yes just like Trump has been helping them with his crap flinging.
Here’s the problem with Trump (and I used to kind of like him). He throws so much crap at everyone that eventually they will do the same thing to him and everyone now has crap all over them.
So really this is Trump’s fault bringing this kind of PT Barnum act to the Primaries. But to him everything is winning...it doesn’t matter what you’ll do after you win, but as long as you win that’s all the matters. So now we are reaping what we sow.
I just wonder how this will play in the national election when the media is going full anti-trump (which he hasn’t seen yet). When Trump’s free media dries up, will he really be willing to spend millions upon millions to have a chance of winning?
It is impossible in NYC to do any type of construction business or for that matter a service business such as plumbing or electrical, and not come into contact with elements of the Mob.
It is also near impossible to do any business in NYC involving manual labor without coming into contact with illegal aliens. For example, hiring a subcontractor to demolish a wall has a high chance of that subcontractor hiring without the builder’s knowledge, a group of illegals to come on site and do the work.
But these realities will not stop Trump’s enemies from turning them into condemnations. That’s just hardball politics. However, with Trump, these attacks backfire because he and his team, even the whole movement are fighters that take no prisoners. Hence, slimy attacks only grow the movement and make it more aggressive.

I do notice that the new 1040 has a space for money received from or given to the mob.
Cruz has really turned out to be a huge disappointment, just another establishment hack, willing to do and say anything. Fortunately, he’ll be gone soon, maybe as soon as Tuesday.
I’m very happy to see that those who live by the motto trump uber alles also have failed at basic reading comprehension skills. At no point did Cruz say there’s going to be a line item of pay off the mob he said there may be extensive or more extensive dealings with known mob front companies but that must be to complex a thing to understand for some I guess. Cruz has definitely gone over the hill on this one.
Trump has been asked about this and said it is probable that he and every other developer in New York did business with Mob owned or fronted business’. He said back in the 1970’s and 1980’s when he was building there were only 3 concrete companies to do business with. Now think about that, on all of New York City only three concrete companies to deal with.
So if he his guilty then so is everyone else who building back then.

I agree and they are pulling out all the stops to take Trump down. So far, it is not working. I have really come to dislike very much Cruz and Rubio.
Regardless of who wins I’ll put you down as another ‘if I dont get my way I’ll go home’ crybaby.
Cruz even name dropped Romney, THE BOMBSHELL. No way to defend Cruz’s actions any longer, and have any credibility.
