I heard Trump say that, and I thought exactly as you - that he was being considerate of his friend, who was probably tired too. My God, people jump on every little thing to diss Trump. I think he had a different plane take Christie home early to be with his family.....it wasn’t a diss, it was a big favor to Christie.
It reminded me of going to a concert with the swag selling, but everyone was happy and not puking. Lots of kids. Trump said “hell” a few times but my kids have heard worse from me.
