Texas Senator Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) stated of fellow candidate Donald Trump “If someone is actually pro-life today, would you perhaps ask God for forgiveness for spending 60 years advocating for partial-birth abortion?” And that Trump “is telling us, he is going to go back on what he’s saying” during an interview broadcast on Friday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

I didn’t become pro-life until my thirties. It’s better Trump finally got to that position than not at all, and Cruz gains nothing by this line of attack, IMO, but to come across as not very Christian himself.
Who in the hell does Cruz think he is? Asking forgiveness? What for. There is no evidence Trump has paid for abortions. These pharisee like tactics against Trump from Cruz and his supporters Glenn Beck are just ugly. They are more ugly that anything that Trump has done.
Cruz was a Canadian a year and a half ago.

You are so right. I was thinking about Cruz and all of his Bible preaching. His kids are supposedly raised by nannies while the wife works some 80 hours per week. Doesn’t the Bible talk of women to be keepers at home? Double standard???

This makes Cruz look really bad and even more less likely to win a general election. Cruz, for a ‘smart guy’, is really doing some stupid things. Clearly he is not in it to win. Other than money, and a lot from duped Cruz fans, what is he after? Seems to me he is on warp speed to end his political career. Which is a good thing, IMO.
