Trump: Metaphor For American Conservatism
Truth Based Logic ^ | February 26, 2016 | William Flax

Posted on 02/26/2016 12:49:01 PM PST by Ohioan

With a few bold stokes of historic significance, Trump has single-handedly broken the hold that "politically correct" bullies have long exerted over the vast bulk of those euphemistically described as "public servants." Thanks to Trump, it may never again be quite so easy to intimidate dissent in America.

With a few unpleasant, yet effective, strokes on the platform in Presidential debates, Trump has easily derailed the plans of political bullies & the incredibly wealthy users of those political bullies, who were trying to force the nomination of another globalist, Neocon influenced, candidate on the Republican Party; clearly demonstrating the tactical impotence of the badly compromised Republican "Establishment" in Washington.

Trump has been falsely labelled a "bully" by those backing more compromised candidates, but if the truth be told, he would be far better described as the "trasher of bullies."

I have posted this, four days before the intended publication date, even though I may add another paragraph before March 1st, as a contribution to respond to the expected flood of smear commercials, over the next three days.

What think you? I am perhaps leading with my chin, but after over sixty years in the fray, I believe this article really does discuss the development of the true conservative--if I say so, myself.

How is the kid who steps onto the play ground to protect the rest of the kids from the playground bullies, a "bully?"

Trump with everything to lose, has taken on the cult that has intimidated most public figures for twenty years, and demonstrated its impotence. Trump has already reduced the paid Republicans in Washington to desperate measures, in his novice run--thus freeing us to a major extent from the terrible burden of all that has compromised our principles in Washington, over the past quarter century.

Do you believe, when watching a John Wayne movie, that you were watching a bully when Wayne dealt effectively with a "bad guy?"

>>> Trump has been falsely labelled a “bully” <<<

He’s also been falsely labelled a ‘conservative’ by Democrats.

You want to give carte blanche to a man who wants to be able to sue the media and anyone else who says "bad" things about him?

You want to give that person the ability to stack the Supreme Court?

I don't think we would ever get our country back if we gave a bully the bully pulpit that was designed as a tool of moral authority and then use it primarily to force his will on us.

There are lots of Roman tyrants of old who are at this moment hoping that Trump gets elected only to prove that what they did was not too bad.

It is a good, reasonable defense of Trump. I’m sure that it won’t slow down the Hate Trump faction, but then nothing will.

If you read my article, you will see that he is a Conservative. That does not mean that he has rejected all non-Conservative views, but he is moving in that direction. But read the article on the link, before you reject it!

Ridiculous. Trump is so far from what you describe, that he is on record as wanting to eliminate the Federal meddling in local education. That is hardly the path to tyranny. Indeed, it is precisely the opposite.

Just making wild charges is no evidence of anything other than that you are willing to make wild charges.

Hey, Laz--

Check out my pre-smear weekend effort. (An attempt to counter at least a little of what we can expect from the Trump haters, this weekend.)

Far more vicious. The model seems to be to cherry pick isolated comments, completely out of context, and then spin a narrative that has nothing in common with the actual context of what has been cherry picked.

It is getting more and more vicious--hence my effort to put the situation into a more realistic perspective.
