You are desperate. Routine audits are not an indication of wrongdoing; they are an indication that greedy bureaucrats aim at the deep pockets of wealthy companies and particularly of wealthy individuals. It's against everything our Founders wanted. Nor is he "protecting himself from the IRS." He is protecting himself from a time-consuming waste of misinformation sure to spew from the release.
The amount of business/finance/taxation ignorance I read here on FR where people are supposedly conservative is staggering. It's impossible to imagine how the marxist/socialist press would twist and turn every word of a mammoth tax return they have demonstrably no ability to understand -- especially since for years they have been haranguing the American people that private capital is evil merely for existing, and that government should control everything (i.e. communism).
You are cheering for the government team and the IRS team against the free market, private sector team. Hasn't the IRS scandal, where conservative organizations were targeted by the IRS and Lois Lerner got a pass from Holder's DOJ, taught you anything? Trump has been critical of many aspects of the Uniparty for years now. You are scandalized that he gets audited? Wake up.
