WHO IS PARTICIPATING IN THE DEBATE? Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas; Ohio Gov. John Kasich; U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and businessman Donald Trump.
WHO IS MODERATING THE DEBATE? Wolf Blitzer of CNN will moderate the debate. Telemundo's Maria Celeste Arrarás, conservative talk radio host Hugh Hewitt and CNN's Chief Political Correspondent Dana Bash will also ask questions of the candidates.
HOW DID THE QUALIFY FOR THE DEBATE? Candidates needed to file a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission, be actively campaigning for the Republican nomination and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have received support from at least 5 percent of those who attended the Republican Iowa caucuses.
- Have received at least 5 percent of the overall vote in the New Hampshire primary.
- Receive at least 5 percent of the overall vote in the South Carolina primary.
- Receive at least 5 percent support in the Nevada caucuses.

Theo - that was a positive statement. Trump has wrapped up the nomination, barring something totally unknown coming out.
The general, in my opinion, is also a done deal. I don't mean that in terms of counting chickens, I'm not, I mean that the message Trump is putting out will win in America. If I'm wrong, then I am totally out of touch. With due humility , I note that I was among those who weren't big fans of Mitt but did think he would win ... I don't pretend to be a prophet.
That said, I would happily put a lot of money on Trump, and come to think of it, while the shares are still relatively cheap still at trading sites, I think I will do Just that.

Lol, I'm not blind to Trump's record, and I'm not blind to Cruz's record, either. Cruz is a follower in this campaign and nothing that is said can change that.

Actually I did just make up my mind. TRUMP JUST DEFENDED PLANNED PARENTHOOD. Again. He also castigated Cruz for standing up for our constitutional rights against almost any other senator. He does not understand conservatism.
