Monday on the campaign trail in Reno, NV, Republican presidential candidate
said if his opponent Donald Trump becomes the nominee, the GOP cannot win in November, because half of the Republican Party “hates” him.
Rubio said, “We can’t win if we nominate someone, if we nominate someone that half of the Republican Party hates. We are going to be fighting against each other all the way to November. I don’t care how much you may think they’re funny or how interesting they may sound. If we nominate someone that 40 to 50 percent of our party can’t stand, we are going to lose.”

Boobio is not going to get more than 15% of the vote in the NV GOP Caucus today.
To turn his question around: how can a guy who can’t win his own home state defeat Hillary in November?
Short answer: he can’t. And he’s not even running for a second Senate term.
Rubio is a big mistake unless you love amnesty and sending your family members off to Muslim countries to fight for the establishment only to come home in a pine box.
If you like that, go for it.
80% of the party hate you rubio so why elect you?
Sad to see any GOP candidate using the RATs favorite term “hate” in reference to another GOP candidate.
Boobio has been getting a measly 8.9% of the vote on the FR Caucus.
91% of us see he has no chance. And that’s among conservatives!
Boy for dumb. Look at SC and NH. Trump just had a rally in NV that more people attended and watched than caucused for the dems!
That little fact never bothered the GOP before now.
You sound like you’re from the Michael Moore/Code Pink wing of the Republican Party.
I believe in the end the race comes down to Trump and Rubio. What will happen to Rubio in that scenario? Remember what happened to Frosty the Snowman when the magician locked him in the greenhouse?
I’m seeing a shift in the anti-Trump propaganda from the MSM/GOPe.
Early on in the campaign it was “Trump will be dropping out soon”. He didn’t.
Then it was “Trump has a ceiling of support”. The ceiling keeps rising.
Now that it looks like he may well win the nomination the new meme is “Trump will lose against the Dems”.
When Trump is nominated, you must love him or cease to be
And since Rubio is around 18%, based on his logic, 82% of Republicans hate him.
Even if you don’t like Rubio, he has a point. Trumps does have very high unfavorables. How does he turn those around?
Democrats will automatically come out and vote for the person at the top of the ticket with a (D) beside their name-regardless of who they are, but Republicans historically are pickier.
Oh Sen. Rubio, both Trump and Cruz are not too well liked.
Uh, Marco? Think about what you just said ...
A vote for Cruz and a vote for Boobio are wasted votes.
I’m going to urge conservatives and Republicans to rally behind Trump.
He’s the only candidate with broad-based support in the party to take on Hillary.
Its time to put a long, expensive and divisive primary behind us.
Let’s leave that up to the aging gerontocrats in the Democratic Party.
Now to the future!
Well actually he is recurring to himself At least 70 % of the “party” hate the establishment. (Which he represents).
Rubio hasn’t won a single race, if he can’t beat anyone in the republican races, just how does he expect to beat Clinton?
If Rubio, and Cruz as well, don’t win big in at least 2 or 3 Super Tuesday states, each, their campaigns will be in big trouble.
Time is ticking by fast. Super Tuesday is next week, followed by contests on March 5, 6, 8 and 12th. Then on March 15 there are 6 WINNER TAKE ALL contests. Does either Cruz or Rubio have the wherewithal to conduct a nationwide campaign in such a short space of time? From the polls I’ve seen (mostly conducted pre-NH, and SC) Trump is well ahead in about 12 Super Tuesday races.
