One word: Scalia. That’s why it’s important to hold the Senate. That’s all so why the GOP won’t vote on Obama’s replacement. They know they will get more of a backlash from their base than they will from the democrats if they approve one of Obama’s picks.
Kirk is running for reelection in a prObama state, I didn’t expect him to echo Ted Cruz on this. He’ll need a few Hillary voters to split their tickets.
I’ll not condemn him unless there is actually a vote and he actually votes the wrong way.
If there is a vote and he does vote the wrong way and a Nazi Justice is confirmed, that would enrage and disgust me. But the fake war hero he’s running against disgusts me so much, what she’s doing, using her combat injures to promote communism, I just can’t abide it. The thought of that B as my Senator for the next 30 or so years is not very appealing.
She’d be right in front of the cameras for the dems from the get go “Look at me, I don’t have legs because of George Bush, so let’s raise taxes!!”. Don’t be surprised if she gets a prime speaking gig at the convention later this year.
If this Republican Senate confirms another Sotomeyer, I’ll join you.

I was actually referring to the general. He loses. Whenever a Scott Brown type, a RINO from a deep blue state, tries to pander to the left, he or she is toast. The blue state will always vote for the real McCoy over the fake one who comes across as a pandering squish. Better to make your case as a contrast to the democrat than try to make your case as a better version of the democrat. Sure, might lose either way, but most certainly trying to out democrat a democrat.
Exactly, may need the help of the FBI to retrieve them which could take a year.
