And so it begins (again)...
When Ben Carson got a little to close to him in the polls, Donald Trump compared him to a child molester, and when Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) began to get close to him before the Iowa caucuses, Trump, the GOP leader in the presidential race, started suggesting that Cruz was not a natural born citizen. And, now that Marco Rubio seems to have picked up some momentum with a second place finish in South Carolina, Donald Trump has started to direct his ad hominem venom at the Florida senator.
It started with a tweet the morning of the S.C. primary:

Dual citizenship should have nothing to do with running for President. Other countries’ actions should play NO PART.
Many, many Americans are dual or eligible for dual. I am eligible for quite a few countries if I wanted to collect passports. Ironic since my own father was denied passport from anywhere at one time.
Right this moment, Putin could make all of our candidates Russian citizens. That should not mean we now have no candidates eligible.
Though if he did, there would be a big party at Bernie’s tonight.
And now the GOPe is pushing for Robot Rubio. Maybe they want to eliminate the nbc criteria.
He’s an anchor baby Jim. :-)
So, my fifth generation US citizen grand children are not “natural born citizens” because their natural born US citizen married a foreign national. The other grand children, whose parents are married US citizens, are “natural born citizens”.
Bizarre, indeed. You really expect a court to rule this way? I don’t.
His parents were foreign nationals, he inherited their nationality. He could have been a Cuban citizen if he had chosen.
The bench was the whole reason the GOP went along with the fig leaf resolution for McCain as cover for The Usurper.
The goal that both parties share is changing the Constitution without the hassle of amending it.
Confuse people about the clear meaning and intent of a three word phrase and voila, we make every anchor baby and Winston Churchill eligible.
The up and comers and future of the party, Jindal, Haley, Rubio, Cruz are all ineligible, as is Barry
“And why not Netanyahu as well? He was born a US Citizen.”
Oh yeah! Lol.
Can you imagine the heads that would explode over THAT one?
It’s very clear and was understood, taught and known to be the standard definition of Natural Born Citizen:
Born on US soil, to parents (note the plural!) who are US citizens.
If the foreign national parent is naturalized, then any children born after the parent is a naturalized citizen are, by definition, NBCs. Both parents have to be citizens, but they don’t have to be NBCs. Just “regular” citizens.
Sorry you don’t like it, hon, facts are facts. Sentimentalism and emotionalism are no way to run a country.
THey’re globalists, like in Europe. They want to flood the US with “migrants”, non US citizens, eliminate national sovereignty and national culture, language and borders. It is NO freaking accident that there were three non-Natural Born Citizens running for pres.
And of course they all turned a blind eye to 0bunghole. We didn’t have two elections the last two, we had a coup.
His parents did not become naturalized citizens till 1975,
It’s a red flag when what you propose to be the law leads to absurd results. As Dickens wrote: “ If that be the law, then the law is a ass, a idiot.”
Our constitutional law is neither, and your and Trump’s bizarre interpretation would never be upheld by any appellate court in the modern era.

Your comment makes no sense.
Have a good day.
