Fresh off back-to-back victories in the Republican presidential race, Donald Trump is moving to expand his tight-knit campaign by building a political kitchen cabinet that includes former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani.
Giuliani, who has not made an endorsement in the 2016 contest, said in an interview Sunday that he has conferred at length with Trump at least three times in the past month, both in person and by phone, and has counseled the real estate mogul "as a close personal friend" about campaign issues.
"We've been talking. Donald and me, Donald and a few other friends who know politics. He calls to check things out or I'll call him to say, 'Donald, you're going too far' or 'What you said was great' or maybe 'Change it a bit.' Itâs nothing formal. It's kind of a running conversation," Giuliani said. "There is candor and there is trust."

Totally agree.
Yeah, what’s with Trey Gowdy endorsing Rino Rubio?
That was disappointing because he is such an excellent lawyer.
Rudy would be a great fit in many places in a Trump administration.
Betray Gowdy
Rudy is so cool. The way he turned down that Saudi check!!!
Yep, Rudy pushing used to be a bannable offense. Now the Trumpets are just fine and dandy as Rudy as a card carrying cabinet member. Wow has this place been duped.
Rudy’s the ultimate crime fighter. I watched his career from the beginning.
They would be formidable!!!!
Giuliani was one of the leaders in bringing forth the message of the dangers of Islamic extremism at a time when the Republican establishment wanted him to tone down his words. But he never did.
Because of this, the Republican establishment became antagonistic of Giuliani’s so-called rhetoric and adamant attacks on Obama.
However, I do not think Giuliani is, as implied I suppose by some in the thread, a full out Trump supporter, though no doubt he may be a Trump admirer at least when it comes to questions of Islamic terrorism, support for our police, as well as his business ventures. He definitely doesn’t like Obama, in fact he hates him, and definitely does not want Hillary Clinton to be President. It appears he believes Trump is going to win the nomination. Given that, he wants Trump to win.
Good. I like that. Besides, Giuliani might serve well at some level in the Trump administration.
I’m afraid Trey is RINO also. He is excellent as a hound dog, but let’s face it, there’s no gun to his head. Trey knows what he’s doing, and it just isn’t revolutionary. He is feeding the beast. (The Paul Ryan Establishment.)

Get it right, that was Rudy as President, not Rudy as part of a Trump administration. There is much to admire about Rudy, especially on 9/11. Don’t knock the guy.
All I can do is laugh at this thread. I can’t even recognize FR anymore.
Excellent! Rudy Toot the former FR icon.
It’s like Twilight Zone.
“Iâm afraid Trey is RINO also.”
A year ago I would have said you were dead wrong. This election sure is opening some eyes for sure. GO TRUMP GO
Is that a fair question? Why yes it is.
Easterners?
They're New Yawkuhs
Mine too. I was a big Trey fan. It’s still a huge disappointment.
I don’t get Trey. With this recurring changing of the hair obsession, either on his danged head, or else his chin, always fiddling with his appearance. To fur, or not to fur. This here, or that there. Gawwd.
Mayor Rudy Giuliani was walking around Ground Zero on 9/11, running NYC during the attack, not knowing if there was more incoming while George W Bush was flying around the country hiding. Rudy Giuliani was a hero that day.
Has anyone considered Preet Bahrahra (sp?) as AG?
