This is simply Alinskyism in action. What Alinkyites such as Obama and Hillary do is present a false middle ground where opposing parties are supposed to come to the table and break bread at. This middle ground, however, is portrayed to the public as everyone working together, but it's really where the Alinskyites can falsely bargain from a position of strength, and when the opposing party disagrees, then they're portrayed as the extremists, or out of touch.
