GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump now has a headquarters in Cleveland.
The Southeast Tennessee office for the Trump campaign has opened in The Village Green at 201 Keith St. S.W., and is currently open weekdays from 4 until 8 p.m.
Abby Jones, Bradley County chairman, said the headquarters is one of the first in Tennessee and will be expanding its hours in the near future.
"It's the Southeast Tennessee location, and is the second office in Tennessee for the Trump campaign, but they are rapidly opening more across the state," Jones said.
Jones said the campaign wanted a position in Bradley County "because it is such a Republican area."
The Cleveland location will also be serving the Chattanooga area.
"You can really get the grassroots involved by being here, and that's why they ended up picking Bradley County over Hamilton County," she said.
The office has campaign materials voters can use to support the candidate, and information interested voters may want to know.
"We are looking for volunteers to come out and help with the campaign," Jones said. "We have all sorts of campaign paraphernalia that people can help themselves to."
Jones said all who are interested in the candidate or volunteering to help can email info.TN@DonaldTrump.com or call the headquarters at 423-790-5775.
