That plummeting sound you hear is the fall of the House of Bush. Unfortunately for the family, it is not falling silently into the woods and there are plenty of people to hear it and witness it and, in time, kick over the dead embers of Bushism.

One down, one to go. Next, the Clintons.
Bush self deported out of the Republican Primary.
Half hispanic, good lookin and holding the last name Bush. Someday this young man will run for Texas governor...count on it.
We are still going to have to knock down their younger generation as they will want to seek office too.
I chuckled for over a hour last night without stopping. We are finally out of the Bushes!
Then there’s Chelsea on the other side.
Deeply saddened is P, who now has to go back to work as Land Commish and who likely just saw his own presidential aspirations dashed.
“It means those writers and organizations and publications and individuals who subscribed to a New World Order and Big Government Republicanism are also in steep decline. “
We can only hope.
It’s not Bushism...they are just the most visible practitioners of RINOism.
The Congress and ostensibly GOP-friendly media are still chock full of RINOs as their daily, even hourly unhinged anti-Trump rants confirm.
We still have the brown ones!
One of those neocon periodicals recently called Trumpism a “virus” for questioning the Iraq War. Donald Trump should not have said that President George Bush “lied” but that is besides the point. The need for a debate about the war has remained unspoken out of simple party loyalty. John Kennedy once said sometimes party loyalty demanded too much. The Republican Party is overdue in having this debate.
I couldn’t agree with this more, and every time there’s a dust-up among Republicans over the war, and a bunch of Republicans start digging in their heels saying they’d do it all over again, I facepalm so hard, and worry about the general election.
Hopefully we can all move past that now that Trump managed to win SC.
Chelsea has less of a political career ahead of her than Caroline Kennedy. I doubt Chelsea will accept an ambassadorship, which is about all she can hope for.
Jeb's first run at office, the 1994 gov race in FL, was a flop (he faced Rubio in that primary as well). Not to whiz on anyone's campfire, but don't be surprised if he's back in eight years, or running for the Senate. Thanks Biggirl.
RE: Chelsea
There were hints a couple of months ago of Chelsea entering politics/running for elective office.
However, her recent appearances to campaign for Hillary have not been all that good. Small numbers show up to see the daughter. And, per some commentaries, Chelsea’s speeches are only so-so. She apparently didn’t inherit the BJ charisma gene.

Recall a decade or so ago when the Dems were pushing their new-found inspiration — Caroline Kennedy. She gave a couple of speeches and they carted her off to Japan or some such to keep her away from any attempt at elective office.
All of the families who think a political “career” is something they inherit-like a family business-need to be smacked down for good-Bush, Kennedy, Clinton-all of them-the words “political” and “dynasty” do NOT belong in the same sentence, ever...
I can’t tell you how happy and relieved I am that Jeb Bush has dropped out.
TS, Jeb. And that stands for something besides tough s***.
And that goes for the Obamas as well, because you know Sasha and Malia will eventually enter the fray, if not Michelle as well.
