Following Donald Trump's victory in the South Carolina GOP primary, talk radio host Glenn Beck urged his Facebook followers to join him and his family in fasting for GOP candidate Sen. Ted Cruz.

Beck shouldn’t end his fast until Cruz gets the nomination. that’s just my opinion though.
OH BOY... I almost read that headline wrong. Not a pretty picture. It’s FASTING...
This all serves to show why you shouldn’t say that God favors your candidate and that God is responsible for election results.
When your guy loses, it then follows that he lost because God likes a different candidate more than yours.
NOTE: I am making no comments on predestination nor am I trying to start an argument. Just commenting on this type of campaign strategy.
Fasting to draw attention to— himself. Better to articulate Ted’s positions and the truth. This is off the edge, and really, unneeded— except by Beck. Cruz needs to keep his distance- beck swerving into aimee semple mcpherson country, which today will get one committed (unless you have a 501(c)3 like a scientology or other scam outfit.
Will Pat and Stu fast also? And will there a product that listeners can buy to help them fast also. What about a book on Oberton Fast.
For Beck to fast he has to stop eating....crow, no?

I *might* be convinced of his sincerity if he took up mortification of the flesh and flagellation. Seems sort of country club pastel if he really believes his premise.
