Be of good cheer and enjoy the removal of one-half of the globalists 2016 objectives; indeed a difficult Rubicon has been successfully traversed. However, do not be naive in thinking one significant battle means the war has been won.
The bloodiest battle still lays ahead.
Jeb Bush has been forced out of the race. It cannot be overstated how significant this victory is in the grand scheme of things. The foundational block, upon which the entire road-map was built, has been removed. However, the GOPe engineers will now shift attention to a scorched earth campaign to benefit their retention of power.
We would all be wise to remember in 2014 Chris McDaniel actually defeated Thad Cochran in the first GOP Mississippi primary. It was only after their initial defeat the GOPe decided to destroy anything that stood in their way - again, the retention of power was the ultimate motivator.
We can now expect those same DC influences, including the entire camp that supported Jeb Bush, the old guard, to work diligently (albeit under darkened cover) to assist Hillary Clinton, and destroy anything that would interrupt their grip on power.
Yes, the GOPe would rather lose to Hillary and retain their place at the trough than to see entry into their cloistered club by the Vulgarian Donald Trump.

That’s a crock! Cruz is the biggest liar in the history of politics. He puts Nixon to shame.
Correct.
Congress Tells Court That Congress Can't Be Investigated for Insider Trading
Gross! Cruz is scum. No way should trump get near that trash.
And Rubio is not?
Not as much as Cruz but yes.
Trump!!!
-- If saner heads prevail, this is the math: Trump + Rubio = majority. --
That's the math that the pundits are using. I don't think that math works except as a way to waste time on a talking point. Take any of the candidates out, and their votes disperse, some of them going to Trump, some leaving the party altogether.
I think the GOP has cooked its own goose, choked its own chicken. None of their players, not even the "stealth" one who pretends to be an outsider, is going to win.
Glory be Cruz is losing his mess of a campaign. He is horrible. Keeping that liar out of the Oval Office must be the only prioity.
I like Cruz and his policies, but he's a TERRIBLE campaigner.
It takes more than talking about the Constitution and the Bible to get people to vote for you.
That was his actual message! Bible and Constitution!
Most people absolutely aren't going to vote for that. They're worried about making their car payment next month!
I watched his campaign ads and payed careful attention.
His message was that he would "fix Washington" and "do exactly what he said he would do!"
Nobody knows what that means! Or cares!
correct “crossing the Rubicon” means there is no turning back now.
Nope, first place for lying is held by Hillary. Bill holds the silver medal. The orange muppet serving as Hill’s stalking horse has the medal for lying which matches his spray bottle face color.
Whores working different sides of the same street.

“I am convinced that Demicrats voted for Rubio in the GOP primary.”
Yep, and the “Independents,” many of them are liberal.
Once an Independent called Mark Levin’s show, so Mark said, oh so you are a liberal, before the man even spoke.
That’s the trouble with Open Primaries - we get Dems and “Independents” messing up the process that SHOULD belong to Republicans.
How good of you to drop by and dump on Cruz and tell us what he is thinking, especially since it's small and less than admirable. According to you.
Thanks for your input. Now please find some other head to inhabit with your special inimitable insight.
C'mon, level with us. There's nobody in here, we won't tell. Tell us about your glorious mission to help kill krush destroy Cruz and deliver the nom to .... whoever it is.
Have another drink and tell us about it.

Are you sure they wouldn't vote for Dr. Carson if he were the nominee? Trump has abused him as "low energy", but then so were Presidents Coolidge, Wilson, and Eisenhower -- Ike necessarily so in consideration of his heart condition.
There have been others who were not the sort of dynamo Trump publicly admires; and not all of his favored dynamos have been honest and effectual Presidents: Slick Willie, Lyndon Johnson, and Jack Kennedy all come to mind. JFK was very stylish and popular, like Trump, but his actual legislative legacy was not heavy, and he did not leave a high-water mark of utmost probity in his personal life.
Oh, that's right. Let's all agree to ignore the inconvenient people. In fact, let's bring things in a little closer to the fire, and just let DC insiders vote. Isn't that about how things have been the last 25 years?
This campaign has to have been rough on you guys, being so tough on Yeb and Krispy Kreme and Kasich. I'm sure you look forward to getting things back to the way things used to, and should, be.
No one's sure of anything. But I think not. The US population is fed up, and they want the man who can move mountains. That's Trump.
Whenever Dr. Carson is asked a question involving his medical knowledge, he's knowledgable and doesn't just give the textbook answer. Dr. Carson should be at Trump's side, as Surgeon General, HHS Secrettary or in charge of cleaning up Veterans Affairs medical services.
