Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told CNNâs Anderson Cooper he likes the mandate established by President Barack Obamaâs Affordable Care Act that everyone must have insurance or pay a fine.
Cooper asked Trump during a town hall forum on Thursday night âIf Obamacare is repealed and thereâs no mandate for everybody to have insurance, whatâs to â why would [an] insurance company ⦠insure somebody who has a pre-existing condition?â

Trump responded, âWell, I like the mandate. OK. So hereâs where Iâm a little bit different. I donât want people dying on the streets, and I say this all the time. And I say this â look, I did five speeches, maybe six speeches today. We had a lot of rallies. We had of thousands and thousands of people. I mean, we get big crowds.â

This lie has been debunked so often that a Freeper repeating it raises seriously questions about their personal integrity.
No matter how “holy” you think your cause. Lying is still a sing.
Well, he would have said it, anyway...
There is video of him saying it — just a couple of days ago.
YEAh DO listen. Don’t let the habitual liars tell you what to think. If you bother to LISTEN you see he is clearly talking about and you here him despcbe how he would repeal Obamacare and what he would replace it with.
Losing any possibility to respect people who knowingly and habitually lie like this.
He clearly says he likes the mandate.
And there’s this where Trump said he was talking about insurance companies denying coverage based on pre-existing conditions, not the obamacare mandate forcing everyone to buy insurance.

Everybody here already knows that because this whole thing has already been discussed at least a dozen times already.
TBP, I am asking the Trump folks to cool off, and I’d appreciate it if you folks did too.
Rubio was ten points behind Trump tonight. Bush dropped out with 7.9 points.
If Rubio gets Bush’s supporters, he will be very close to Trump.
We cannot afford to play knockout any longer.
If we keep this up even a few more days, Rubio may spark and we’ll both lose.
I don’t want that, and I doubt you do either.
Please lay off the total destruction game folks.
Post an article so we can all read it. Then find a new one.
Take care.

OMG, just stop with your BS. Apparently, the good people of sC don’t believe this crap, so why do you insist on posting it after your candidate lost? Stop embarrassing yourself.
How could anyone be more liberal than:
-signing a liberalized abortion law - 1967
-giving amnesty to illegal aliens in America - 1986
-supporting the Brady bill against the 2nd amendment - 1991
-coming out in support of NAFTA - 1992
Yet Ronald Reagan did all of that and more.
Some people are truly delusional. They set up straw man conservative standards that even Ronald Reagan can’t measure up to.
Who is the bigger liberal, Reagan or Trump?
This was inconsistent with what he has been saying about repealing Obamacare and the requirement for everyone to buy insurance. He issued a clarification as soon as he became aware of how this was being misinterpreted. There has been several threads on this in the last couple of days.
YEAH, listen to the WHOLE statement, not an out of context clip. Because when you listens to the whole thing then see the spin put on it, you lose all respect for the habitual lairs at Daily Caller, Red State etc that spun it out there.
Publications would be wise to keep in mind that candidates come an go, a pofessional reputation as liars follows authors, and publications, around for the rest of their career.
Conext is king. The mandate for the Pre Exisiting Condition. Lying by omission to take the word out of context.
Rubio,is a homosexual crimmigrant lover.
He will not survive himself.
I’m a Trumpster, but I have no illusions that Donald is a perfect candidate.
This is just one thing we’ll have to get his mind right on.
