I would say, by in large we have way to much respect for government officials and workers. Lowering the flag for .gov employees but not for the common citizen. It is a waste of time and too much respect to the government.

I agree with Trump here. This was a deliberate snub that shows the pettiness and shallowness of 0bama. I heard on Fox News, the day before yesterday where one of the announcers said that Scalia is suppose to have said, "If a man has mostly enemies in his life, then he's not much of a man." That may not be a direct quote verbatim, but close. I immediately thought of Obama, and even in death Scalia pegged Obama.

He also declined to attend the funeral of Major General Harold Greene in 2014, the first US general to be killed in action in over 40 years.

As I have Posted before, why didn’t Obama fly AF1 down to El Paso in his way home from his West Coast DemoncRat Fundraiser / Golf Outing to pick up Scalia’s Body?

It’s not like Obama would have had to break a sweat.

That would have been a sign of Respect.

Instead, they had to get a Private Charter Jet to pick up Scalia’s Body and transport it to D.C. Shameful.

My wife and I watched the entire mass. We both agreed in the end that we were glad Obama didn’t go. Images of his arrogant mug would have lessened the dignity and beauty of the service.

I am a Trump supporter - and Trump is correct. That POS Obama didn’t go and it is an outrage.

Now, personally, I wouldn’t go even if I were invited, because I don’t want to be listening to choirs and looking at people with their wafers and all that while what I really want to do is watch the coverage of the S.C. thing today, this primary outcome is really important to my retirement plans.

However, a thought occurred to me, what Trump should have done is do a quick flyover in one of his copters, land in a nearby field, say a statement on behalf of Scalia, then fly back to S.C.. Man, what a presser moment!
