Everyone I see at the Food Lion that uses EBT usually drives a new car.
And has the latest smart phone
The author needs to come shop with me at wal-mart supercenter. I guess EBT cards aren’t used at Whole Foods, Trader Joes, or wherever Claire shops and she’d be shocked at what EBT cards are used for where us commoners shop.

A couple months ago I was standing in the “No more than 12 items” line behind a minority woman. She had at least 30 items in her cart. Paid with an EBT card. I had one item so I was right behind her out the door. She was parked a couple spaces from my 15 year old Highlander. She got into a giant black Caddy Escalade. It still had the stickers in the back side window and temp plates! EBT!
Yup.
And a checker at Top Foods told me about the gal earlier that day who bought $30 worth of GUMMY BEARS...
True story.

You should probably quit stalking them.
My son was a cashier at a grocery store and said they mostly bought pre-packaged foods. His theory was they were re-selling them because they always had money for cigs.

Ditto here—a couple of weeks ago it was a big SUV, something I could never afford. And why do the homeless/underprivileged always seem to have money for tattoos/piercings?

And most of the EBT users I see have to waddle out to their new car!
