Obama actually asked a pertinent question. Direct access to the Mediterranean is one thing Russia gains or maintains. And of course, Obama is helping, because it is not a contest.

This is one time when we may be lucky Obama is a pantywaist.
God forbid this idiot should think he has the mental capacity to confront and best Putin.
Putin may not be the sharpest pencil in the box, but he’s certainly not as inept as Obama voters were twice.

Do we really want Obama leading on this?

Obama destabilized Syria by demanding regime change (to install his IslamoNazi pals like he did in Egypt and Libya, etc)
then he threatened to invade the country
then he shipped in tons of lethal weapons
then he ‘trained rebel forces’ there (which turned out to number a total of only 4 willing guerillas)
then ... then....
so O has completely screwed Syria up..
whether he can be fairly criticized for ‘being soft’ I question. Being firmer would mean what, exactly? He’s already invaded with some ground troops, special forces...
(to what end, his Allah/Sstan only knows....)

"The real question we should be asking is what is it that Russia thinks it gains if it gets a country that's been completely destroyed as an ally, that it now has to perpetually spend billions of dollars to prop up?" Obama said. I imagine Putin will tell him to mind his own business.

(The problem with Obama is not that his skin is too black, it's that his ideas are too RED.)
