Is Donald Trump in trouble? After facing hostile questions from Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski Wednesday night--they comprehensively laid out his flip-flops, presented him with damning videotape, and asked him to explain the inconsistencies in detail--Trump was confronted by hostile audience members at MSNBC's televised town-hall forum. When a Muslim questioner got up to ask why he had said such bigoted things about minorities, Trump seemed to struggle while Scarborough forced him to respond. The candidate looked uncomfortable, unhappy, and somewhat lost. It could be a turning point.
If only. Of course, none of this actually occurred Wednesday night, just like it hasn't occurred once this entire campaign season. Instead, Scarborough and Brzezinski hosted what appeared to be a rehearsed and "safe" town hall, in which American voters asked the candidate such hard-hitting questions as "Why did you decide to run for president?" and "how will you set yourself apart" from other Republicans? It was completely worthless television, except in one sense: The program highlighted the many ways in which the media's coverage of Trump has been soft, insufficient, and without substance.

In his place, I would not go on Levin’s show. I was surprised by some extreme attacks Levin made against him. They made no sense and didn’t sound like Levin.
THe other night I heard Levin take something Donald said completely out of context and absolutely lambaste him with it. I don’t even remember what it was - oh the thing about he blames conservatives.
Just part of the “Deal” he made with MSNBC to appear.
I watched it. The Audience was stacked. When it began the People looked like they were attending a Wake for Stalin.
The Camera angle and close ups appeared to purposely make Trump look bad.
Both Joe and Mika would ask questions and interrupt when Trump answered, but they were probably better than most of the Debate Moderators we have seen.
They asked tough questions about Trump’s History and Positions and they also were quick on the draw to do follow ups, although interrupting Trump as I said earlier.
That is my impression of what occurred and you are correct that Ratings are the driving force. They may be Dumb, but they’re not Stupid.
Exactly. Trump is just vain enough to think ... you like me, you really like me.
And the press is just biding their time and making notes.

I thought it was a great TH. They were tough on Trump, but not disrespectful, or “out to GET him”. They were fair, Trump was great. GO TRUMP
I do recall any bigoted remarks about Muslims, other than wanting to vet them much closer to weed out the terrorist.
It’s just another minority trying to use the race card to their advantage.

Or even on Chris Matthew's thing. Al Sharpton's -- that could be interesting.
What proof does anyone have that he will be able to accomplish all that? Will he do it the same way as Obama? Will he have congress behind him when most are obama-ists?
If he wins...there will be ONE Senator we know who will let everyone know that DT is being UNconstitutional OR will write the policies that DT needs to make it law.

They aren’t the only ones who want to see DT answer tough questions without just answering by saying the questioner is stupid until his writers come up with an answer and he can make a press release.

Reagan Democrats don’t exist any more. They never would’ve voted for Obama if they did.
Even if Trump got Democrats to vote for them, how is that going to help save 25 Republican Senate seats? If they’re Democrats, they might vote for Trump and for Democrat Senators. Then Trump will really get to cut some deals with Schumer, Reid, Pelosi...
