At a Wednesday morning campaign event in Bluffton, SC, Donald Trump takes his relitigation of the Bush administration's record on 9/11 and Iraq to the next level, seeming to imply that we don't currently know who "really" committed the 9/11 attacks.
Trump says if he is elected: "you will find out who really knocked down the World Trade Center."
"It wasn't the Iraqis," he explained. "You may find it's the Saudis."
"They have papers in there that are very secret," he also said, referencing the 28 still-classified pages of the 9/11 commission report. "But you will find out."

but it is known that they have contributed tens of BILLIONS to terrorist to either keep them from overthrowing them or to aid them. likely the first, but that doesn’t make me hate them any less?

Better yet, why isn’t he focusing on Hillary’s abysmal record as Secretary of State, mostly Benghazi? How about Obama’s failures in the Middle East, there are many and far more recent. We have had to listen to this crap from media and Democrats for the last fifteen years, now we have to hear it from a self-described Republican candidate? I wouldn’t vote for this clown under any circumstance.

We must admit that the Saudis manned those planes for the most part. And we must also admit that the Saudis have provided the funding over the years for the mosques and centers that trained terrorists and inculcated terroristic thinking.
The Saudis have also led the charge over the years to destroy our economy through OPEC.
If there is info that actually implicates the Saudi REGIME in 9/11, then I’d like to see it.

I don't know if he knows it or not, I would say he's playing the political game to finish Bush once and for all....but it's pure speculation n my part.
I'll say for myself, I never believed we were told the entire truth re 9/11. I have to question who was on the commission and wonder why the like of Gorelick would be on it.
The only reason I can surmise is that there are some cover-ups going on, most likely having to do with the Clinton administration.
Were the Saudi's involved, who knows. But there are still many pages of classified documents that we're not allowed to see as Trump has pointed out...wonder what's in them?
Those are interesting questions. I’m honestly surprised that a Republican candidate in 2016 would be running against George W. Bush. I suppose it has something to do with opposing Jeb as the nominee, but who can get worked up about 2% Jebbie?

What was their motive? It screwed them too.
I guess the Trump argument goes like this.
1. Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks
2. Bush justified the invasion of Iraq by saying that Iraq was responsible for the 9/11 attacks
3. Therefore, Bush lied.
The problem is that everybody has always known that Iraq was not involved in 9/11. Bush never said that the Iraq War had anything to do with 9/11. This whole thing makes no sense.
In other words, just another day in Donald-Land...
Wasn’t there a big sell off in the markets at the same time? I do not remember if the sellers were ever identified?

President Bush inexplicably censored 28 full pages of the 800-page report. Text isn’t just blacked-out here and there in this critical-yet-missing middle section. The pages are completely blank, except for dotted lines where an estimated 7,200 words once stood (this story by comparison is about 1,000 words).
A pair of lawmakers who recently read the redacted portion say they are “absolutely shocked†at the level of foreign state involvement in the attacks.
Reps. Walter Jones (R-NC) and Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.) can’t reveal the nation identified by it without violating federal law. So they’ve proposed Congress pass a resolution asking President Obama to declassify the entire 2002 report, “Joint Inquiry Into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001.â€
Some information already has leaked from the classified section, which is based on both CIA and FBI documents, and it points back to Saudi Arabia, a presumed ally.
The Saudis deny any role in 9/11, but the CIA in one memo reportedly found “incontrovertible evidence†that Saudi government officials — not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom — helped the hijackers both financially and logistically. The intelligence files cited in the report directly implicate the Saudi embassy in Washington and consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks, making 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war.

Anybody with two brain cells to rub together knows the Saudis were behind it. The bigger question is who else was.
Everyone already knows this. Geez, Donald, tell us what YOU want to do to make the country “great”...not just smearing the other candidates.

The amazing military school prep boy must certainly understand the importance of geography in a war, infrastructure, airbases, hospitals, boots on the ground and INTELLIGIENCE. That is why GWB went into Iraq and after years of Saddam defying every rule, that was our opportunity to own a country right smack in the Middle East.......of course Obama gave it back.
