Being diagnosed with cancer is scary enough. Having cancer and ObamaCare can be a nightmare.
According to the Associated Press, "Hundreds of thousands of people lose subsidies under the health law, or even their policies, when they get tangled in a web of paperwork problems involving income, citizenship and taxes. Some are dealing with serious illnesses like cancer."
The American Action Forum estimates that the regulations issued under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) "will cost businesses and individuals more than $45 billion and will require approximately 165 million hours of paperwork in order to comply."
Now imagine you're a cancer patient of modest means trying to figure out which ObamaCare policy to buy that will both cover your treatment, preferably at the provider of your choice, and be, as the law's moniker suggests, affordable. Then imagine that you get churned about in the wheels of bureaucracy and end up with either no coverage or coverage you can't afford.
Such troubles for patients do not bode well for the future of ObamaCare, which has some ACA advocates worried.

Obama’s prescription for aged cancer patients “go home and take this pill.”
they get tangled in a web of paperwork problems involving income, citizenship and taxes.
Yeah, you know, like when they lied about their income to get a subsidy, are illegal aliens, and are years behind on income taxes. Oh, the unfairness of it all.
If you are a broke joke you still have the same bad welfare insurance without deductible.
Residents are supposed to support themselves or leave, so no issue.
Illegals should get nothing they don’t pay for and should be gone anyway.
If you make a little money you are off of welfare insurance and onto a subsidized plan where you pay a $6500 deductible.
So in every way you are screwed as a citizen, the rest is not our issue.
They do have some pill kemo therapies these days. That could happen.
Rationing by waiting. Those that survive the wait of the paperwork may get treatment.
Yep. And people think Obama isn’t going to get his SCOTUS pick? Hell yes he is, the GOP-E can’t buckle to their knees fast enough for this scmbag. “Eric Holder to replace Scalia? Oh yes Sir Obama yes Sir yes Sir! Anything you say Sir!”
MY time is coming. I want Oxy, and lots of it.
Under Obamacare you pay $6500 treatment deductibles and after your first $500 on medicine you get a reduction in cost.
Oh....oh my...so it’s a $7000 death pill then.
Would be far cheaper to stare at a poster of Hillary while listening to recordings of Yoko Ono.
It would be over before you know it and being the poster would render you blind you would not even see the end coming.
Unfortunately I have first hand experience with this bullsh*t.
Not only do people lose coverage, but the drugs allowed on individual plans are limited when it comes to Cancer.
There is a good reason why the survivability rates for Cancer are worse in socialized countries.
LOL. I’ve got shall we say, plenty, left from when I had chemo. I’ll bring you some. (JUST JOKING! NO POLICE AT MY DOOR PLEASE)
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
What age does that kick in?
Thankfully not at 67 (my experience anyway)
Well, for me, it’s either that of a subsonic .22 to the brain. I’d prefer to be high as a kite, though.
I’m guessing it’s the age when Democratdom considers not a long term guaranteed Democrat vote.
AIDS patients get preference.
I got whacked by ObamaCare this week. The cost of my insulin quadrupled when I went to get it at the pharmacy on Monday. It had been the same price for nearly 20 years, and then 2016 gets here, DeathCare really kicks in, and I pay 4 times what I did in November.
