Donald Trump still leads in the race for the Republican nomination in South Carolina, according to a new Fox News poll.
Trump captures 32 percent among South Carolina likely Republican primary voters. Ted Cruz gets 19 percent to Marco Rubio's 15 percent. These are the only three candidates earning double-digit support.
Jeb Bush and Ben Carson tie at nine percent each, and John Kasich gets six percent.
There's little difference among only those who say they will "definitely" vote in the GOP primary: Trump garners 34 percent, Cruz 20 percent, Rubio 15 percent, Bush 8 percent, Carson 7 percent, and Kasich 6 percent.
Some support could still shift, as 25 percent of these GOP likely voters say they could change their mind.

Prediction markets give Trump an 87% chance of winning. Cruzâs chances are 7%.
If he wins, is it gods will?
Palmettos wouldn’t vote for Pat Buchanan, demanded GHWB and Bob Dull: now they are embracing Trump but is it too late?
I’d still like to see a 20 point smackdown. Things would get a lot quieter around here.
Maybe some are finally wising up to GWB, but he did give us Justice Alito.
NH was a 19.5 point smackdown and things didn’t get quieter.
Poll is from the 15th to the 17th, so Cruzers can’t reject a poll if it just has one day on the 13th. Ho ho ho ho!
Cruz better run more lies and misrepresentations if he wants to be lower. He should get with it, it seems that is the direction he wants to go.
Amazing to watch him commit political suicide with such dirty status-quo politics. He was supposed to be “the only principled candidate” in the race. A few months ago I would have never dreamed we would be seeing Ted do what he’s doing.
No the closer they get to losing, the louder the Party Purity Police will get.
It’ll be bad as its happening, but then it’ll probably go silent as demoralization kicks in and they stop reading FR. But then if Cruz doesn’t drop out, as I expect he would, they’ll come back as bad as ever.
I wonder what Rush and Levin will say. My guess is they’ll hit that NBC/WSJ poll hard today.
The poll, released Thursday, was conducted Monday through Wednesday evenings.
I don’t want the Cruzers to go silent should Trump prevail. I want them to join the team, as I would certainly do if it is the other way around (that Cruz wins the nomination).
Four recent polls of the South Carolina GOP primary show that Donald Trump leads Sen. Ted Cruz among the 65 percent of likely GOP primary voters who self-describe as evangelical Christians.
They’ll pull out another internal poll.
Ping....this the poll that was to be released?
Four recent polls of the South Carolina GOP primary show that Donald Trump leads Sen. Ted Cruz among the 65 percent of likely GOP primary voters who self-describe as evangelical Christians.
That’s hilarious because Cruz was repeating over and over yesterday how conservatives were rallying to his cause. I chuckled every time he hit that talking point. LMAO.
