CBS News poll: Trump maintains commanding lead [2/12-2/16 Trump 35%, Cruz 18%, Rubio 12%]
CBS ^ | 02/18/2016 | Anthony Salvanto

....Forty-six percent of Republican primary voters say they have now made up their minds about whom to vote for, up from 35 percent last month. But Trump's supporters are surer about their choice: Two-thirds of Trump voters now say they have made up their minds. Among those supporting other candidates, the race is more fluid; two-thirds of them may still change their minds.

Trump's support cuts across nearly every demographic group in the Republican electorate. He holds a double digit lead among Republicans and independents, men and women, white evangelicals, and Americans of all income levels. He leads among Republican voters of all age and education levels, but does particularly well among voters without college degrees.

Trump also holds a double digit lead among moderates and those who describe themselves as somewhat conservative, and has a five point lead over Ted Cruz among very conservative Republican voters.

All my assets were earned by me not given to me by my daddy nor stolen from my brother like your idol

With all due respect, if you believe that Sanders will protect your assets more than Trump, well, let’s just say that your reasoning prowess needs a tune up...

Vote for the Socialists because the Republican Front Runner is a “Liberal”.

Only a paid Hillary campaign bot or a completely brain dead moron would show on this website to argue for that view.

So are you a political moron or a political fraud?

Fox is coming out with a poll this AM (a SC poll) and then at 6PM Fox is coming out with a national poll (I believe those are the correct designations - one or the other - which way or that).

There is no doubt that Donald Trump has expanded beyond the very conservative republican type voter.

However, he’s able to get away with that because of the absolute dereliction of George Bush in regard to amnesty, which he directly supported; in regard to the justification of the war, which he refused to defend; and Islamic radicalism, which he tried to redefine as a ‘religion of peace’.

WSJ/NBC...changed their model. They added real conservative voters to their poll. Which brings into question...all polling models.

After all, why would liberal pollsters want conservative numbers in their polls? It may ruin their narrative. However, pressure from the ruling class to get more accurate information may have had them change the model...the establishment does not want to be caught with their pants down this cycle.

To the affect that it helps liberal socialist scum with more accurate information, is of no matter to the establishment forces. They and the lefties appear to have common enemies.

This could change polling models for everybody...and the numbers will change...to the shock and dismay of all concerned that the “revolution or rebellion” is merely growing stronger.

Fun times. TALLY HO!

And Ted,,,? NO MORE SINGING! :-)

Murdoch has seldom used Fox for his agenda polls, but keep an eye on how they treat Rubio.

I believe Rubio to be Cruz’s deadliest enemy at this moment.

Obviously, Trump is leading, and I’m not counseling Cruz to take his eyes off of Trump, but the establishment realizes now that Bush is a non-starter. That leaves them Rubio.

I want this to come down to Trump vs Cruz. That’s a win/win for me. Trump vs Rubio would be a win/lose.

Three Strikes Third Time This Campaign Season NBC/WSJ Caught Promoting Agenda Polls

Posted on February 17, 2016 by sundance

The team of NBC and Wall Street Journal (Rupert Murdoch owned) has struck again with their latest highly coordinated and heavily manufactured latest Agenda Poll. We have previously revealed NBC/WSJ prior two constructs HERE and HERE.

[AND now you know why we proactively do so.]

mark murray NBC Chief Pollster Propagandist, Mark Murray et al, is out with yet another ridiculous poll (exceptionally high Brian Williams as a verb factor). This time showing Donald Trump trailing Ted Cruz in an explosive new development. Oh my.

However, this time it appears Murray has learned to insert an exit strategy to avoid the egg-face/embarrassing-sunlight factor of prior exhibitions. In a not-so-subtle veiled attempt to save face, they have written an excuse directly in the heart of their own polled results.

It really is funny to read:

So, one poll post-Saturday debate can only reflect there may have been a pause as Republican voters take another look at Trump. This happened earlier this summer and he bounced back stronger. We will have to wait this time and see what voters decide. (link)

Yes, that little disclaimer is more than a little humorous when you know the backstory.

What they are referencing (trying to save face upon) is NBC own prior agenda polling last year hence the earlier this summer reference. When we called out pollster/promoter Mark Murray on the last one, he ran away for several weeks.

Remember, an agenda poll is not created to show a statistical snapshot of the presidential race. An agenda poll has nothing to do with the support. Agenda Polls are manufactured to create media talking points, to create media narratives.

Agenda polling is about setting out to make a story, to sell a specific narrative, by using polling as the means to justify the story you are selling. Nothing more, and nothing less.

In this NBC story, the Wall Street Journal, owned by Rupert Murdoch who is promoting Marco Rubio 24/7 in all his executive media decision-making, is merely trying to diminish candidate Donald Trump. They are trying to blunt momentum and block the inevitability factor, that is all. Period.

Aww, c’mon now. The passengers on the HMS Tedtanic are holding onto that one outlier poll, as useless as it is when you read* it.

*Or in the case of the passengers on the HMS Tedtanic, when they have someone read it to them.

Ever notice how Cruz swaggers about taking on the Washington establishment?

When it came time to take on the Washington establishment over TPA, he worked with Paul Ryan to get it rolling, to get it on the floor for a vote, and then voted for it the first time. When his vote was no longer needed, he was allowed to vote against it.

When it came time to take on the Washington establishment over the Corker bill, he voted for it.

Ditto immigration (Cruz’s campaign manager says Cruz wants to expand immigration as of the December debate), H1-B visas, etc.

Very conservative 35 30

Evangelical 33 22

18-44 31 21

45-64 37 17

$ under 50k 41 17

$50-100k 31 18

$100 over 32 18

some college 33 18

college grad 25 19

Mind made up=46%

GOP: "want someone who will shake up political system"=70%

"most likely to get things done" 43 16

Most electable 53 18

Prepared to be pres 51 57 (Rubio at 42 on this) 9/10 Trump voters say he "shares their values"/50% overall

Well, the gal sitting in the middle of the curvy couch at the show’s opening this morning, was overly anxious to put a wet blanket on the NBC/WSJ poll - “a small sample, within the margin of error, Trump basically called it a tie, way different than other polls!”

I’m afraid it’s a lot more than that. Although of my 6 vehicles I do like my 79 chevy pickup best.
Maybe I’ll take it for a long country ride today while you’re working

Then why did Trump get a segment on Fox & Friends each week for years? He was given the floor and talked about anyone and anything he wanted to.
