Yikes! Not good!

I used to make Rice-A-Roni all the time when we were first married. The spanish kind with weenies added were pretty tasty and cheap. We were living on Airman 1st Class salary which was pretty much nothing back then. LOL!

It was better than I thought it would be. It hooked me on the first night. I’m bummed it’ll be over after next week.

It played for me...but, gal, you’d get a load of hits if you joined YouTube. it’s so easy that even I have been able to upload videos. LOL!

Think of what a talented woman like yourself could do!

This was chicken flavor, and I really like it, but have never made it myself. It requires staying at the stove for 20 minutes or so. d:o)

But, I will try this weekend and have something for a couple lunches next week.

I like it for making casseroles. Add goodies to it and it’s a meal-in-a-dish. And if you end up with more than you’ll eat before it goes bad, it freezes well. Did that for years while I was single.
Worth the 20 minutes or so for multiple meals. :-)

Microwaves came out in the 70s. Maybe that Pyrex was not “Microwave Safe”.

Talk about critters living dangerously at nests, the pesky squirrel at Savannah is really pushing its luck. Just checked in on Momma and saw someone had gotten a great screen cap this afternoon.

Once the eggs hatch, that squirrel is gonna be dinner for the owlets!

Well...I will try it using the stove method, but I do intend to buy a new “microwavable” bowl and try the microwave method too. d:o)

That squirrel might make those little owlets their first meal if he doesn’t watch it. LOL!

Breakfast in bed! :)

Maybe that Pyrex was not "Microwave Safe".

I suspicion that this is/was true. It was the big bowl of a 3 bowl set that I remember being around for my whole life. I'm sure it's not quite THAT old, but.....

Stove method, though it takes longer, seems to work better for pretty much anything. Just seems to taste better overall. I use our microwave to thaw, to warm up leftovers, or to zap a tv dinner when I’m in lazy mode.

They make all kinds of microwavable dishes these day so it shouldn’t be a problem finding something the right size.

Yep. Breakfast in bed!

It’s been pestering her for a while. I think she’s been letting it build up confidence in survival so that when the time comes, it’ll be an easy catch. It’s gotten closer to her several times and she didn’t go for it. She has her plans for it. :-)

Even if we miss it, someone will put it on YouTube and post the link in the Twitter feed that shows on the page.
The critter torments her several times a day so she’ll have plenty of opportunities when the time is right. I’ll probably be asleep. LOL

Guess I’d better try to get some now. Time slipped away and I should already be in bed. I have to get up early for a Republican Women’s Group meeting and need to attempt to get to sleep early. A lot easier said than done!
