Support for Donald Trump among Republicans has declined in the past month, leaving him slightly behind Sen. Ted Cruz in the race for GOP presidential nominee, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll conducted after a combative debate performance that soured some voters on the New York businessman.
Mr. Trump had enjoyed a double-digit lead over his rivals, but the new poll found support for him falling by seven percentage points since mid-January. Among registered voters who said they would participate in a GOP primary, he drew 26% in the new survey, narrowly trailing Mr. Cruz, who had 28%.

I didn’t mean to imply anything about you with that post.
You started the thread so I posted to comment 1,
I wasn’t thinking about you individually when I did it.
Take care...

I doubt that
The Over/Under for how many times this will be posted is 75
MOE 4.9%, that means Trump could be at 31% and Cruz 24%
Cruz beats Rubio one on one so it should be Marco who’d drop out.
We all know that GW sold us out while President, he tried twice to put morons on the court.
His prescription drug plan was the largest transfer if wealth in our history.
He doubled the size of government and destoyed the free market.
He fooled a lot of people in 2000.
I don’t see Rubio ever dropping out. I think this will be a three way race to the convention.
It’s a 9% MoE.
Look under the hood of the poll and Cruz has been outperforming Trump one-on-one in the January one too. It's just a matter of time before Trump hits his ceiling and collapses.
And in hypothetical one-on-one match ups, Trump trails...Cruz (56 percent to 40 percent)...In January, Trump was...behind Cruz (by eight points).
Its a Ted Cruz postarama. Push the push poll. LOL!
Good, let the status quo crew have some temporary false hope.
Hey, Bush was at 20% in New Hampshire just the other day, remember?
Agreed...the GOPe will keep their candidate in there and try to make it a brokered convention to steal it from Cruz. Even if Cruz ends up on top, Rubio and Trump will probably try to cut a deal at the convention to stop Cruz from getting. Cruz is the real threat to the establishment. He won’t cut crony deals with them the way Trump said he would.
Liar. Their is nothing wrong about the report.
The significance to me is that this poll would be an outlier. I personally
don’t like to rely on one poll but look at several for trends.
Cruz is the opposite of the status quo.
You are calling me WHAT???? Better watch your mouth buddy....
My statistics prof told me to ignore polls with a sample size less than 1000. 400??? LOL...
Slo Joe better damn well hope donnie doesn’t pitch one of his fits tonight about the NBC/WSJ poll and in the process turns hard left breaking Joey’s nose.
It will be kind of hard to respond to a poll that came out after the town hall was taped at 1:30 pm today
