Shots were fired at his home sounds like someone who was at his home fired some shots. Somebody fired shots at his house, maybe?
Blaming Beyoncé is a bit of a stretch. I’m sure there’s plenty of people who didn’t like this guy well before the Super Bowl aired.
Same thing happened here this week.

Klamath Falls, Ore.â Klamath Falls Police are looking for the person who fired several gunshots at a local law enforcement officerâs home and vehicle.
The shooting was reported at around 10:30 Saturday night in the Angle and Soquel area. Nobody was hurt, and police arenât releasing the officerâs information for their safety. According to a press release from Klamath County District Attorney Rob Patridge, itâs believed that the officer was targeted in the shooting, and this is not a random act of violence. The Klamath Falls Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Detective Brandon Dougherty at 541-883-5336. Anonymous tips can be left at 541-883-5334.
I’ll blame this whole manufactured anti-police movement. Not for this individual event, but the wide-spread anti-police actions that result from it.
They didn’t fire shots at his home. They fired shots near his home, the house wasn’t struck.
“Manufactured”?
After my father was sent to prison for a crime in which I was the victim my mother and I were subjected to random warrantless late-night and early-morning raids on our apartment in which the apartment was searched, my mother sometimes handcuffed, and I spent more than a few hours in the backseat of a patrol car. Then I missed school as my mother and I tried to put our home back together.
I married my husband and when we moved to Wyoming we had armed California Franchise Tax Board agents show up on our property...in Wyoming...demanding that we provide proof of our residency in Wyoming. Seriously. In this case our wonderful Park County Sheriff’s Dept. told the FTB people to go away and never come back.
For myself too many stories of police abuse ring familiar.
And it’s a struggle to remind myself of the good things people with badges do because the majority of my encounters with them have not been good.
Is some of the media about the police untrue? Of course it is. But the police have engendered distrust with their own actions which can now be seen in endless hours of video on You Tube and far more damning video on Live Leak.
It’s also seen in the 149 wrongful convictions that were overturned last year with 65 of them being put in jail by cops who straight up lied to get convictions against people they knew were innocent.
That’s not manufactured.
So is Black Lives Matter justified, therefore?
Sorry to read this, it must have been horrible.
Like most things in this life, there are the good, the really good, the bad and the really really bad. Sorry you had to deal with the latter.
