Just days before the Feb. 20 primary, Republican front-runner Donald Trump holds a commanding lead in South Carolina, according to a new poll.
Trump leads the GOP field, with 35 percent support, according to the Monmouth University poll, nearly doubling that of his nearest competitor, Ted Cruz, who garners 19 percent support.
Marco Rubio places third, with 17 percent support, followed by John Kasich, with 9 percent support, Jeb Bush, with 8 percent, and Ben Carson, with 7 percent.

I was beginning to worry about the Cruzbots. Are they going to be able to take the scale of their defeat in South Carolina. But, then I think, hey!, they have been ignoring reality for so long, going on from here will be easy! ;-)

Sadly...Jeb Bush has successfully destroyed the Bush positive legacy and the goodwill name brand!!! His brother, GW Bush has abandoned him, and will not publicly appear with him him at any political rallies!!! The Bushes Rally with GW was a terrible failure and only drew somewhere between 800-3000 attendees...while Trump was drawing 20,000 the same day!!! Jeb Bush is naught but an ego, self centered human being!!! He is political toast....no, burnt political toast!!!

Oh, I doubt that. If Libbylu can remain after asking God to damn us all to hell, I don’t think that there will be too many casualties in the bunker when the cruzies realize that Steiner isn’t coming. And I’m OK with that. They are the ones who seem to need a safe place echo chamber.
When all is said and done, the Cruzers are still ours.
Whether in victory or defeat, we should, nay, must be gracious with them!

Rumors of Trump’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. Its the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my entire life politically. Those who can’t appreciate Trump’s resilience really are just dense and blinded by their loyalties. Trump’s attacks on GW Bush had zero negative impact which shouldn’t have been a surprise. Just because one may like Bush doesn’t mean his foreign policy and domestic policy was a success which they were not. Trump not may get everything right but he manages to get his opponents right where they can be best exposed to the people whose opinion he really cares about which is the average American citizen.
Its just amazing. Trumps rage and loyalty blinded opponents couldn’t help themselves. They rushed out with rhetorical overkill to attack him and defend the Bush administration. Its just like when he got Scott Walker and others to defend illegal immigrants or when he got them to defend Muslim radicals. You would think that his opponents would learn but they don’t. Instead they trot out Dick Cheney to attack Trump which just improves his standing among the voters who see corruption writ large across both parties.
Then you really have the most pathetic attacks coming from Bush and Cruz acting as if an occasional curse word is a disqualifier. What stupid ass kind of voter makes decisions based on that when the country is going down the toilet to the tune of 19 trillion in debt, wars without end and an invasion of illegals transforming our nation? This stupid attack also gives credence to the argument that GOP are prudish self righteous twats.
Those that refuse to give Trump any credit for his unquestionable successes are the dumbest of all because its not in question that the man built a 9 billion $ company and has created thousands of jobs in the private sector outside of any celebrity he has. He built the company far beyond anything his father accomplished and built a brand that is known throughout the world and has risked it all to run for President boldly and uncensored.
You can’t defeat an opponent without a degree of honesty and respect for their strengths. No amount of ridicule defeats a truly strong opponent no matter how good it makes them feel and Trump has shown be not only formidable but in a class entirely by himself.
He will be President and some will still be dismissing him. The key is the important people are not dismissing him and he is strengthened all the more by the foolishness of his opponents.
